wow, alot has happened in 10 minutes. . . . . . . .
sorry if i sounded like a fanboy, just being kind of defensive. just look up at my last post. dont know what got into me, though, i am not usually like this though. i guess i could blame it on being tired? yeah, thats it! i was *wink* tired *cough* and started actin all fanboyish because of it. . . .

so i will conclude this by saying *clears throaght* the ds and the psp are both very good in there own ways. i (personally) give the slight nod to sony just because i find the games more appealing, although the DS is also good.

About the size.

Having a photo of the PSP next to an open DS is not exactly fair. But, even if you close the DS, it is more "fat" than the PSP, thus more difficult to see how it can be easier on the pocket, right? Well, no. I have tried both of them in pockets and the DS wins hands down. Next time you go to a store, try it yourself. See which feels more comfortable in your pocket. And which feels safer without any protection. (Meaning special leather/plastic case, not condoms)

I don't think anyone here hates the PSP. I know I don't, and I wouldn't mind getting one as a gift, I just said why I prefer the DS over it and how I am glad I bought the DS instead of the PSP.
We are all lucky enough to have two such great gaming consoles available for purchase. (having the money of course).

LOL oh great, trying to get me arrested now for shoplifting! what a friend! i doubt that my local walmart will let me just pull one off the shelves and let me stick it in my pocket... all humor aside, that pic was there because someone mentioned the psp being longer, and i was showing they are the same length. never said anything about comfort

It is rather easier to stick the DS in your pocket.
Mostly because the PSP's elongated shape doesn't agree with the length of my pockets.

The other thing about the photo is the angle. The PSP is actually a good bit wider (relatively) than the DS, which that picture doesn't show due to the way the DS is sitting. Had the DS been placed above the PSP in that photo it'd be quite a bit more clear.

Heh, this is exactly why I came here, to post the same thing. I just had a flashback. Shame on me considering some things...

Yes, the PSP is quite longer, that is why I also said originaly that eh, it is longer. :-p

Go to another shop than Walmart's. You must have one that allow you to try putting them in your pocket under supervision.

Blood-Pigggy 19-12-2005 11:18 PM

There are shops where they let people compare products by putting them in their pockets?

Linky?

And I don't know who said it but I'm not having any trouble playing FPS games so far on the PSP, I did at first but I'm way past all that.

Blood-Pigggy 20-12-2005 12:32 AM

There are about 2 FPS games for the PSP and both of them are terrible.
