Development:

Melkorka uses her last two daily spells to bring Sir Jesse up to 2hp. The party then takes a well deserved rest.

Taurgouz: 18/18 hp
Saria: 5/5 hp
Melkorka: 5/8 hp
Jesse: 3/6 hp

[You are going to have to wait on that Jesse, you already got some loot as it is.

Maybe melorka should learn how to craft healing balms? :whistle: ]

Now that the trap has sprung, is there any visable evidence that the trap was a once-only trap?

Taurgouz wants to open the box by any means neccessary :sneaky:

(I'll take that as a "i wanna see if the trap is gone now then i wanna open the box" :P )


Development:

Taurgouz examines the chest, but can't figure out if the trap is now reset. He tries the lid, which opens easily. Inside are two pearls, a simple headband and a small bag with 100gp. The headband is made of leather and is studded with small iron rivets.

There is no need to worry if the trap will fire agaun, since the arrow came from the southern wall, just step out of the line of fire and open it from the side (only as a precaution, everyone will stay away from the line of fire too).

After seeing that Taurgouz opens the chest, Saria ask him: "So, what is in there?"

Some devices can be multi-trapped as well, so you can never be too sure.

Taurgouz tells Saria... Does dis head thingy smell magical to you?
(He wants you to cast your detect magic on it, like you did with the ring)
(Also try to see if the pearls radiate anything. You never know, one might be a pearly white ioun stone or some such)
