And, becayuse they made it mandaroty i gave false information.
the proper action is for them to switch this information to optional where it belongs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As firo location ISP tells you that. My point is and has been this information should be made optional you ahve absolutely no eed for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Btw, you still have no need for my name or birth dtate and
The point is and was that the information has no bussiness being mandatory!
It should bve optional. That is where you guys have it wrong. If I don't want to reveal my name location or birth date that is mshould be my choice. It isn't nesacary and doesn't help teh site in the least to know my name or birth date. and if they want my location they can get it from the og of my isp number.
If you want to give out the inforamation more powerr to you!!

Learn to read, kiddo. While I agree that a lot of this should be optional, at the moment it is not and we can't change it even if we bloody wanted to, so stop the fucking drama!
If we could change it, we'd have done so months ago!

Location can be found from Logging isp.
Dynamic IP. Read about it.

Name and birth date is unnessacary. WIthmy name and location someone can findmy address in the phone book with a country records search they can find me from my birth date.
I take it you didn't understand the Sarah Connor reference?
Fact is, anyone can do it if they wanted to.

Why give one more person information the don't need. All yur personal information should be on a Need to know basis and frankluyy the site administrator doesn't need to know.
You're getting ahead of yourself here.
As the administrators, we have complete access to all data on the site and all data entered in user profiles. It's right there in the job description.
It's not your place to dictate what we need or not need to know. Understood?

And by the way, did you ever complain to the administrators of an online store or an auction site that you had to provide any personal information when registering there? They have access to it, you know.

No I did not I did try to register the same account witha different email but i never recieved a email as it does eat some email from some sites. So I register the exact same name with the new email.
Account name used was peace, and it was registered with an AOL e-mail adress. The only two differences between that and the one used to register your current account are the domain and number of zeroes in the username. Plus, both have the same ISP.

it won't keep me from habving two accounts if i choose to,
"It" won't.
But then there's grumpy ol' Horseman, who can merge the accounts into one, ban them, or delete them both and wipe out every trace of their existence. In other words... trying to piss me off is suicidal. Succeeding marks you as a candidate for Darwin Awards.

Oh. WAIT!!! I'm not afraid of ID theft......
Cause, ... Who would WANT my Identity???

I don't shop online, my Username, as stated in the quote above, is the same EVERYWHERE..
So that means they would only steal the same nagging character....
(without any revenue in it... :p)

So, really.... What's the fuzz???
Cause peace, if ANY of us Two would have much to worry about it would be ME!!!
And I'm not even Slightly worried, So PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT IT!!

OK..? :)

Zoltan Mihaly 13-07-2008 10:46 PM

Why does he need a bicycle? I thought he is into horses. A wain or a chariot ok, but a bicycle? :weird: :D

Sal 14-07-2008 12:05 AM

 Hmmmm...Russ I am afraid that if "grumpy" wants your bike then you have two choices....1. Take the bus
2. Learn to love walking

I do have the right to decided what you need to know when it is my eronal information.

I Have never used an auction site and very rarely have ever used online stores.

the number of zeros shoudl have been the same the other one i fugrred would have been deleted because I never conrfirmed it. As AOL doesbn't for some reason accept mail from your server. I never recieved the conformation number with the password from aol. I have had this problem with aol on several emails so I got a new web based email account. I refused to sign up with Hot mail because they required all outgoing mail to have your real name on it.

Eprsonally I would rahter you did delete the AOL information. Which i figured would have happened automatically when i didn't confirm or sign in after so long.
