There is no 1B1H offset. It's not even technically possible to have an H, or so it seems?!?

He probably means offset 1B1 . There are several conventions for denoting an offset or value is presented in hexadecimal form - the two most prevealent being $ prefix (eg $1B1 ) or h suffix (eg 1B1h).

Ther are neither $ nor H at all in the savegame files.

He just said that they are only denotations of hexadecimal values and that you need to go to the offset 000001B1.

The Fifth Horseman 22-09-2009 04:29 PM

Precisely so.

Unregie 26-09-2009 02:59 AM

I understand, but there is simply no such offset.

A hex editor normally has a Goto command where you can enter the address.

Address existence verification is attached.

What I was trying to say is that there's nowhere 0001b1 in the save game at all.

I believe that user at the top of this page has made a mistake, or he referred more likely to an offset that applies exclusively to his and his alone savegame (or any in the identical gameplay to that point)

Can you find 0001b0 ?
Also, stop whining and just show us YOUR save file.
