Well it says all versions do this (it's a bug with the game). I was looking for a patch. Maybe the best suggestion really would be to play the Amiga version (but you'll need apropriate hardware/software combination).

Has anybody figured this problem out yet? A saved game from the dos version would be really great that is if anybody got past that point.

At least put a remark on the site to say there is no way to get past that point.

Still working on it. Sorry for not keeping everybody in the loop, but there's no good news yet to report. All I can say is - be patient.

oh man, you're a God (if it works), i got this game like 10 or 12 years ago and always got the error, then i lost all the disks....i'm hoping the auto part price thing doesn't get too bothersome, is there a way around that?

I also have the "51 error" on the top right corner of the screen when I leave Las Vegas. I played the game on the HP OmniBook6000 (PIII 700)...
