True Neutral, never done D&D either, too time consuming ;)

True Neutral are really, really crazy people who can't be trusted, especially by AD&D standards. Encountering a true neutral, even in D&D, is incredibly rare and I really doubt that even one of those who said they were true neutral here really is.

Chaotic Neutral.

Straight up from the player's handbook...

The +s and -s also can be converted to 3e rules by multiplying by ten, unless you are playing Neverwinter Nights, in which you muliply by 100. It takes such amounts of actions in one degree or another to change your alignment.

it's also a pain in the behind trying to STAY true neutral, because your alignment is shifting aaaaaalllllll the time.

You're probably thinking of Chaotic Neutrals.
True Neutrals are usually people who live by a very strict moral code, and try to uphold the balance between Good and Evil.
Wikipedia doesn't use very good examples for alignments...for example, I think Darth Vader would fit best in the Lawful Neutral category.
