I got prerelease of vista (not sure which version) and visual studio 2005, but no time or spare computer to try either.
And of course I will get it with next computer. |

Will you please contact me in 10 years' time (from today) and we'll see whether MS is dead or not. Quote:
<!--QuoteBegin-chickenman@Nov 19 2005, 12:02 AM I hope Microsoft dies I hope they die soon, if you want a "real" OS use Linux.[/quote] Don't you think we've had enough of your MS bashing (and Linux promoting) in every thread that has even a tiny bit to do with programming, operating systems and such?! I certainly have. I don't have anything against Linux nor do I promote MS or Windows, but you've served us this kind of statements one time too many. And, yes, I could agree with Efthimios and what he said! |
I voted 'yes' because I'm sure that at some point in the future, for some reson that I cannot currently imagine, I will use windows vista. Probably because some software that I want to use demands it, and won't even install under any other OS. (this was my reson for upgrading to XP).
However, this version of windows has basically ripped off all the good parts from it's competitors (linux and mac), and there's no way in hell that I'll be paying good money for it. :Titan: Stick that in your pipe, Mr Gates! |
I would rather use the commandline than linux because i would play dos games.
