In that case, my DOSBox settings must be wrong for the game....in the courtroom scene, using either keyboard or mouse, the two ghosts move fine. However, any ghosts after that change speed for keyboard. With the mouse, the ghosts move at the same speed as the two in the courtroom. With the keyboard, ghost speed is noticeably increased (I beleve it to be twice as fast as normal), and ghost catching is impossible.

Here are some of the settings I think might be affecting the game. Should I change them at all, or is it something else that's causing this problem?

Hi, I tried using plain dosbox 0.7 yesterday, but still no luck, the game still hang after the courtroom scene. Does anybody has any advice on making this game works on dosbox?

did you run GB2FIX.exe before GB2.bat?

Memsize, for starters.
with a game this old, 63 MB RAM is an overkill - not to mention that this value was not possible for any configuration of RAM chips in any x86 machine. Consider dropping it to 8.

Alright, cheers. I'll mess around with it and hope for the best.

*EDIT* No luck, even when changing core to normal, and memsize to 2. I'll post y full config file, but would it have anything to do with the xms/ems/umb settings?

hold left mouse button or space to shot stuff in to ghosts, then if they r weak enough they ll get in to the box

i always lost at the game
cause i sucked at catching the ghost even in the begining

i used to lose too but when i switched to mouse it went waay better :D do you use keyboard or mouse?
