I second the vote for a closure. The issue has been resolved, the thread creator has been placated, and EOF has been put in his place. Nothing more needs to be said.

I'd prefer it settled in a gladiators arena, watched by a crowd of blood-thirsty and inbred Romans. Who's with me?! :)

Ah, but did I ever claim that I follow Netiquette? Did I ever enforce it (even though that would be a good idea)?
I didn't, so why throw it at me?

Other than that, "arrogant, self-righteous bastard who doesn't give the benefit of doubt beyond the first warning shot" sums me up just about right. ^_^

Posting in closed threads just so you can get the last word sure as hell is bad netiquette.
