As was said earlier in this thread, the issues will probably be addressed by comments from Studentis no earlier than Monday.

I'm highly leery of posts urging boycotts of new siteowners, from someone with a chip on their shoulder. Whether the chip is legit or not, the place to go isn't to appeal to the membership and getting everybody upset. It's to seek legal redress.

It is all speculation until we know more.
Considering the FTP server is back. I'm inclined to close this thread.
