Perhaps if you go to sleep and are awakened by a random spawned enemy.

Perhaps a nord in armor, Nords are pretty big.

Yeah I just downloaded it. Took 45 minutes too, was it worth it?

EDIT: I think I am losing my enthusiasm for posting. I usually blab on, now I'm just straight to the point. :not_ok:

Partially. Repetative game with time, but nice one. ;)

Iron_Scarecrow 07-11-2004 08:52 AM

Is it anything like morrowind? I liked that but someone took it. I may have gotten it back. Oh I did. Cool.

FreeFreddy 07-11-2004 08:58 AM

Graphically of course not. But the world is very big like in Morrowind too and consists of repeating places like in Morrowind too. But of course Morrowind is much more complex and all that. After all, Arena is the first game of the series. ;)

:wall: AARRGH! How the heck do ya get out of the starter dungeon! i follow the instructions but that leads me to a dead end! :help:
EDIT Pm me

Iron_Scarecrow 08-11-2004 04:23 AM

It's goes really slow for me. I can't handle it.

Stroggy 08-11-2004 03:02 PM

you need to press ctrl+f12 in dosbox to make it run at a normal speed (you notice you've reached the normal speed when the music is fluent)

To get out of the starter dungeon:
Move out of youc ell, move straight forward until you can turn left (the big hallways)
keep moving until you can make a right (over a stream of water)
Kill the goblins on the other side and move forward.
From this point on you should always make a right at each turn... or was it a left?
I think its right...
anyway eventually you'll reach a long narrow hallway with a portal at the end, walk into the portal.

You can easily be killed in the starter dungeon, so i suggest going to sleep in your cell and killing the randomly spawned enemies.
Whne you loose health just find an elevated spot in the cell (where you find the key to the cell door) and sleep there to replentish your health.
Repeat this to gain a few levels quickly and some better weapons (and possibly armor too)
