I just thought I would post the first round this evening and then give you 1 week to finish your artwork.

(Well maybe 7 days is too long so please offer me some timegap that you think you need ...)

I see I need to clarify something... :unsure:

I didn't mean to say that Taikara hadn't said yes. Just that it seemed like everyone was already starting the competition, while one of the contestants was still unsure what the competition was about, how it would be done, and if it was even possible to compete.

I'm sorry I didn't make that clear enough. It's just that I didn't want people to actually start the whole show without first explaining the rules carefully, so that everyone involved would be 100% ready.

Ladies and gentleman
welcome to the ultimate art challenge!

Our contestants Magic on the left side and the fair lady Taikara on the right.

Before we start I just explain the rules in a few simple statements.

1. Ladys first means than Tai is allowed to do the first works on the image
2. The image must have a format of 800 by 600 pixels and is to be drawn in RGB mode
3. The image format for interchange is JPEG with quality setting 10 (Photoshop)
4. Each contestant may add one object to the image no more and no less
5. it is not allowed to delete anything made in a prior step
6. After Tai has made the start, she posts the result in this thread and we wait for Magic to add his stuff and post his result - this goes on for 5 (five) turns
7. Please NO judging from any spectators while the competition runs!!!
8. After 5 turns the first round has finished and the judges (rainwife, thechosen, FPJ and swiss) discuss on the going of the game, the fairness from the contestants and the trickyness of the single steps
9. The winner gets ONE (1) point
10 . the next round starts with TheChosen as moderator
