Capitulate'd be to surrender, no?

I'm having scads of trouble with the copy protection. I've tried the Kyrandia CRACK program, and it just freezes the game.

How is it that all of you are playing this thing?

I love Kyrandia. This is killin' me.

Where did you play the game? In Windows XP? In DosBox? If you played it in Windows XP, it might be not the crack at all, but Windows. ;)

AHA! Figured it out.

The version I downloaded was cracked already. My problem was that I didn't know that I needed to type an 'x' when the game asked me for "word 3 on page 7" or whatever. I found that bit o' info on another forum on another site.

Is that 'x' thing kinda universal with cracked games, if you need to enter something?

Actually, you don't neet to type in anything usually, just press Enter on this input request...
At least the version of the game that I have doesn't need any "X" to be typed in.

:help: HELP! I downloaded the game, Legend of Kyrandia, I just crossed the bridge and it showed me a symbol and asked me to find the page with this symbol and enter word 9 on line 6. I guess it's some kind of copyright protection and I need the manual ... does anyone know where I can get it?

argh how do you get the games to work? on my com whenever i try to install them it just says that the file is not meant to be in windows or dos... im so confused i want the game to work! :wall:

To exit the cave, you have to go to the "Cavern of Twilight" there u'll see like a broken bridge, use the purple spell to turn you into a flying ball, and cross flying, that way you get out of the cave and enter zanthias forest...


PD: There's a less than 10mb version of HOF.
