cant play, dosbox wont work either

so i run the dm2.bat file
click new

it exits to dos saying simply 'bye'

wtf??

I just tried playing it and it worked fine.

Did you run the setup? Also what file did you open the game with? I used DM2.bat.

It might help if you could tell us what that error when running DOSBox was.

i was trying to run skull.exe

apparently ''bye'' means ''your game has been installed, and you can now play it just fine''

I am just about to beat his game. I am loving it so much. I remember logging some SERIOUS time back when I as a kid. I think once I beat it, I am going to start over and do a youtube run.

Ohhh man, so much nostalgia goin' on right now... But I seem to have a problem, as so many other have.

See, everything runs fine, perfectly in-fact, except the sound... NOT the music, but the sound. There IS no sound, and I don't know why. I run the setup, and I start playing around with that, and both the digital and music test work, but then start playing, and only the music plays.

I'm thinking it's something to do with DOSBox, but has anyone else run into this problem, would be wonderful to get some help in fixing this.

Just started DM2. I did DM before some days.
My team:
Torham: Fighter, Ninja, Priest, Wizard
Net: Ninja, Priest
Bane: Fighter
Saros: Priest, Wizard

Gladly now we have 10 saving slots. Nice.
I am in the first store and just buy a compass.

Maybe some good soul (for example dear DarthHelmet86) will be so kind to give more details about spellcasting.
I know the formula of some spells but the process is not clear.

Anyway now I am fighting with 2 Dragons or T-Rex near a tree (in the very beginning). Why these monsters are so strong?
Can not expect so strong resistance in the very beginning.
I am still relatively weak even armed with bow, rocks and saber and more.
May I know their HP?Bestiary?
