Now for a question copied from a scientific magazine:

Eyeballs
Say, there are 6.388 billion people on this Earth. Theoratically, there are 12.776 billion of eyeballs. One eyeball has a weight of approximately 7.5 grammes.

1.) How many tonnes of eyeball do we have in this world?
a.) 98,229 tonnes
b.) 102,345 tonnes
c.) 95,820 tonnes

If you consider an eyeball a sphere with a diameter of a few centimetres, you can easily calculate the volume: about 8.58 cm3. One litre is the same as 1000 cubic centimetres, so you can put 116? eyeballs in one litre.

2.) What is the total volume of eyeballs on Earth in litres?
a.) 203.22 million
b.) 85.91 million
c.) 109.67 million

Olympic swimming pools have a capacity of 1,5 million litres of water.
3.) How many pools can be filled with human eyeballs?
a.) 141
b.) 60
c.) 73

Re-write this to 2^x (to the power of)
2^101 + 2^101 + 2^102 + 2^103

a1s 28-01-2006 11:02 PM

easy! 2^101 + 2^101 + 2^102 + 2^103 = 2^104
