:sos: how do you use zDoome or somting

well you can use zdoom or vavoom (clickable links)
download it and i havnt tried it by myself but there are tutorials for the programs on the site=) (or readme when you download the program)

put the strife1.wad and voices.wad in the zdoom directory and run zdoom.

This was a really cool game back in the day.

Using zdoom really improves the gameplay! Strife is great, a shooter with a story and user interaction/dialogs!

My only gripe is that I find ammo to be quite scarce. I try to converserve ammo by using the stealth attack with a dagger, but is not useful against the stronger enemies.

Why did you upload it without music?

If we did so, then most likely because it would have been too large for us to afford the bandwidth costs otherwise.
Bandwidth costs money, and money doesn't grow on trees you know.
