if you own the cartridge it is legal (its counted as a backup, which is legal), im not sure about the 24 hour clause if you don't own the cartridge

There is no 24 hr rule....

And it is not legal even if you own the cadridge. There is no way you can do a backup on PC without violating the law which protect it. To have a copy like you mentioned, you would need a hard copy. I.E. another cadrige you copied the first into. I don't think it's possible.

Any game sold, should be bought, to encurage the producers and give them credit for theire work, and the fact that they still support such classics.

And there are dozens of freeware clones of it. Why not get one of them if you're so desperate?

I'll never use CDAccess, that's for sure - you pay as much as for a brand new game.

Anyway, Worms is a wonderful game. I prefer the original to any of the sequels because it just has something the others lack. Get Worms Reinforcements though! And ebay is your friend - CDAccess are rip offs (and it's not even the reinforcements version!) but ebay definately will have a cheap alternative.

IMO the best part of Worms was Director's Cut. But it's only for Amiga <evilgrin>.
Though Reinforcements pack is somewhat close to DC if I recall correctly.

There is a fan made game called Wormux which is a spin-off of Worms. I think you need to run a Linux system to run it though. :bleh: *kidding*

I was reading some articles about alcohol and then suddely Worms came to my mind . (We used to play alco-worms - you need to dring a shotglass tequila when a worm dies and two when you commit suicide :cheers: ).

It was made by Ocean and Team 17. Both not ESA ?!

Just the newer Worms were made by Ubisoft (that's ESA). Or did Ubisoft buy Team 17 or Ocean !?!?
