I'm afraid that with several recent cases of users spamming like bloody damn hell just to get to the ISO forum, the current access requirements need a little reconsideration.

Would it be possible to introduce a minimum period of forum membership that also needs to be met (not anything biggish, just two or three days would be enough of a deterrent IMO)?

mhh..IMO 100 post was a good solution, it's a great deterrent for spamming and for those who are not abandonware lovers...(maybe 50? Too much for spamming and not too much to reach them.)

a week's membership period and 50 posts. that seems fair to me
