Whatever, that's what dir /w should look like: (don't mind the mounts) http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/4247/koei.th.png What you must do is: Delete your old \bandit\ folder, it's worthless anyway, Re-Download the archive if needed, Extract the included \bandit\ folder in your virtual C: http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/6783/koei2.th.png http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/6316/koei3.th.png (E:\games\ is the location of my virtual C: ) Remark: I unzip the archived folder in e:\games\ , not in e:\games\bandit\ Mount your virtual C: and cd bandit koei That's it. Can't be that hard I think. If you need an unzipper that will do the job without problems get yourself 7Zip. Freeware and really good. [Edit] BTW, don't run install, the game is pre installed, ready to run in dosbox. |

Can you attache your koei.conf file, and the batch file to start? - I believe the problem with the creation of savegame is that the game insists on saving it in B: - now most computers no longer have a floppy drive. Please advice. |
you can use a virtual floppy drive, are you using dosbox?

Sorry but few months ago i'd buyed a new Pc and, at least for the moment, i haven't played (so downloaded) Bandit King. But i played the version of Abandonia, this means that if you had problem with it i think that even with my files the problem can't be solved  *returning on the shadows* |
Working with DosBox
Two questions:
Is there any way to get sound for this game in DosBox? Anyone know how to place my hero on a map? I can't seem to succeed at it. I'm using DosBox .73 |
There is no sound in the DOS version.
