I'm both surprised and pleased to see how the majority of the votes are for adventure. Makes me depressed when I read or hear about adventure being a "dying genre" . I like to think it's a phase and one day ppl will realise how amazing it is to really use your little grey cells to explore fantastic stories[/b][/quote] I tried the same poll here, but adventure games doesn't seem to be as popular there as it is here. Probably because most of us here are nostalgics :max: |
I love to play adventure, rpg, simulation, strategy, action, eeeetc :Titan:

I've been buying up CD-versions of all my favorite adventure games I used to play when I was younger +some that I missed. So far I've gotten:
Kyrandia 1, 2 & 3 Broken Sword 1, 2 & 3 Gabriel Knight 1, 2 & 3 Simon the Sorcerer 1, 2 & 3D Discworld 1, 2 & Noir Myst 1, 2 & 3 Syberia 1 & 2 Star Trek - 25th Anniversary Star Trek - Judgement Rites Longest Journey Grim Fandango The Dig Day of the Tentacle Sam and Max The Feeble Files The Quivering I'm still looking for Runaway, Monkey 1, 2 & 3, Bioforge and Neverhood. I'll wait until after summer with those though. It was Abandonia that made me realize how much fun I used to have with these kinds of games. Thanks Abandonia. All in all I've spent ?200 (including shipping costs), which isn't that much considering what I've gotten ;-) The reason I've had to collect them all again was that I was dumb enough to sell them once... :ranting: |
wow great collection mdag :ok:
