There is some issue with opeinng home page of abandonia. For some reason it redirects me straight to Astronomy Quiz review page.

Same here.

I am having the same issue just to validate Pex's reporting of the problem.

EDIT: I actually posted earlier than this, but the page took a while before reloading to post.

So much for today quiz.
I wonder if it is caused by hacked htaccess or headers. Fifty pieces of eight on the hacked htaccess :-))

Edit: todays quiz still available, if you add the language abreviation (other than english) to the url. (www.abandonia.com/cs/)

It appears the issue was caused by unfilled non-mandatory cathegory fields.
Editing the node and filling them in fixed the issue.
