If you really are broke, try looting your friends :D
if they are too (oh boy!) try this diablo clone avalible right here on this site:Ancient Evil
can't help you with quake though (legaly). :(
have fun, don't do drugs! :D

Quake you could substitute with Wolfenstein 3D for a while.

Other than that, Gregor has the point - these games are still sold, so do not try to ask for download sources or say something like "i dont care its still sold gimme the download NOW" or you risk a warning - or worse. ( :banned: )

good joke man! LOL
But seriously, Ziza, try browsing the action genre- you'll probably find something that fits your royal needs.

You might want to check out Blood as a substitute for Quake

Wow, I never knew there was such a thread...

[SOLD] at Gamestop, CDROMShop, EBGames and whatever shady shops you can find in your block's basement

bobson 28-09-2009 05:57 PM

Quake is still sold at id store

The Fifth Horseman 04-11-2010 11:43 AM

Diablo still sold at the locations given by TA.

The Fifth Horseman 28-08-2011 09:58 PM

Quake still sold at ID Software.

Regarding Diablo, CDROMShop is defunct. Other two locations appear to be listing Diablo II Battle Chest, and while the cover image belongs to the old Battle Chest which included the original Diablo and a Diablo II strategy guide, the description and screenshots appear to be referring to the new Battle Chest which only includes Diablo II and Lord of Destruction.

A buyer comment confirms this:

I had bought the battle chest from Gamestop.com only for the reason that it advertised that the first Diablo was included in the battle chest. I am happy with having Diablo II and the expansion, but am unhappy that the battle chest did not include what it advertised. If you want to order the Diablo Battle Chest and specifically expect to have the first Diablo included in it this site is not the site to order from!

Note that EBGames appears to be using GameStop's own store, so whatever applies to one also applies to the other.

Blizzard has also removed their official mini-website for the original Diablo (see Archive.org), replacing it with a footnote on their "Legacy games" page.

The "latest" patch for the game has been released just over 10 years ago, so it's not very much supported either.

Found two on Amazon.com. Therefore, the game is still [REJECTED].

Tomekk 31-07-2013 11:34 AM

What about now? Blizzard have removed it's website by now, and I doubt running a small Battle.net server on an old Pentium II counts as much support.

Doesn't matter what kind of computer the Battle.net server for Diablo is running on - so long as it's run by Blizzard (now Activision-Blizzard) or an authorized third-party, then it counts as a service the developer/publisher is providing to support the game. Ergo, the game is still supported and still a rejected request.

Tomekk 31-07-2013 01:32 PM

Ugh huh, right... except that they don't give a rat's arse about it.
