Tower of Fear [NON-PC]

I found a box of old pc games in my old house, there are some rare ( i think) games in there. If anyone is interested, i could post a list of them. Then, i could possibly upload them to the site? ^_^

I'm interested in what rare games you've got... and I'm sure I'm not the only one... bring on the list and let us see what your treasure throve has hidden :) :brain:

you are gonna sell this or upload it? well anyway, bring the list :)

Post the list. If you really have some rare oldies, it can earn you VIP membership quite fast - did that for me, anyway.

Burger Meister 05-08-2006 11:55 PM

Jammit LOL! I have that for SNES!

I remember 7'th Guest... Have it too...
I also had (or have, don't know) a version for CD-I.

JimmyJ 06-08-2006 09:39 PM

CD-I?

rabadi 07-08-2006 05:53 AM

I believe that is CD Interactive. I remember something about it being more expensive than the regular CD-ROM back in early 1990s. However I am not too sure, since it's been a long time already. Anyway, here is the article on Wikipedia about CD-i: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-i

That's right. He looks exactly how i remembered it ^_^ . You could plug it into your television and play. Remember 7th Guest was kinda creepy on a big screen ^_^. And the music... And the rooms... And when you wanted to quit you heard a voice shouting:"NO! COME BACK!" LOL Good memories.

EDIT: I know this hasn't anything to do with the subject of the topic but did you know they actually made two sequels? 11th hour with a new graphic engine, and 7th Guest Part III: The Collector wich was never released.

Night Hawk: F117a Stealth Fighter - Microprose 1991 - Abandonware
According to AW list.
Iron Helix - Spectrum Holobyte 1992 - Abandonware
Not on the AW list, but Moby lists it as 1992, and Spectrum falls under the "10 year rule".
Satan - Dinamic Software 1990 - Abandonware
Not on the list of ESA companies, and is over 15 years old anyway.
Hell: A cyberpunk thriller - Take Two Interactive 1994 - ESA PROTECTED
7th Guest - Virgin 1993 - Abandonware
7th Guest is too large, unfortunately. Bandwidth reasons.
Tower of fear
Status unknown. Not on the AW list nor on Mobygames.
Great naval battles: fury in the pacific - SSI 1995 - Abandonware
Flight of the intruder - Spectrum Holobyte 1990 - Abandonware
Falcon AT - Spectrum Holobyte 1988 - Abandonware
Jane's AH-64D Longbow LE - Electronic Arts 1996 - ESA PROTECTED
Metaltech: Earthsiege - Sierra 1994 - ESA PROTECTED
Super VGA Harrier - Domark 1992 - Abandonware
Jammit - GTE Entertainment 1994 - SOLD

All those marked in green are allright. I cannot find anything about Tower of Fear on here nor Moby, so it would help if you told us the publisher and release date (should be somwhere on the credits screen of the game)

Now, the sizes also matter. How much does each of the "okayed" ones take up when zipped?
