BlackMageJawa 08-11-2004 06:09 PM

The engine for this game was reworked into Pac In Time on SNES, which happens to be one of my favourite ever platformers (and yes, it is Pac as in Pacman).

I lost at least a hundred lives on level 7 of the Pyramid  Still can't get through. I manage to get the red furry, but I cant pass the mummy. Is it possible to kill it? Where is the entry way to the exit part ? Where sould I shoot ? Or munch ? Or what ? Please, Wormpaul, help me! :help:

Maerlyn 24-11-2004 05:29 AM

I dont like anything to do with 'Furries', they are quite disgusting and sad. I dont trust anyone who likes or uses a reference to them in any way... Now whether this game has anything to do with them or not doesnt matter, i just feel dirty playing them.

Same with Paws Of Fury - i bet that had something to do with it.

So ill leave it to the degenerates.

He LouLou,

It's already been a long time ago that i played that level and none of my savegames is there very close :wall: :wall: (you can't save each level...that is something really stupid at moments like this  )

So ill try to do it on my Memory..

I never killed the mummy, it's the trick to get past him...when you have done this there should something near a small opening to the end of the level..

I know it sounds very stupid...but i cant see the level in front of me so i can give you only 1 advice...don't try to kill the mummy...just past it and go to the end of the level..

And nice that you also like this game...not heard many people about it before :ok:

But for support: When you get really :ranting: you can try these 2 links under...

1 is a walkthrough for secret area's and the other is a trainer that you can use to make it to the end of that level...i know how frustrating games can be when you're stuck at 1 part..

Good luck with all

Trainer Fury of the Furries

Walkthrough secret area's

Loulou 24-11-2004 09:38 PM

Thanks, Wormpaul, you for your answer... And the trainer suggestion, but I'm playing on a Mac :tomato: so no trainer available. I tried again, failed again, the :wall: level 7 of pyramid.
Its the one where you start with only the yellow furry, you have to break an urn to get a key to open a door that shot down behind you- No coming back.
Then, your flown up. There are two entries to the right- One gives you the red furry. The other takes you to a large space with a mummy firing at you, coins, some arrows in the middle that bring you up and a sand pit over the exit to the right. I can't figure out how to empty that sand pit to get to the munchable part at the bottom of it. Ring a bell to anyone? If you ever play the game again and reach the level 7 of the pyramid, remember me!

wormpaul 25-11-2004 07:21 AM

Hmmm....

This is really worse mate...

But ill go try it again (got a save game left from my brother...he made it to the forest...so i can start from there :ok: )

When ill made it, ill will send you an E-mail (got still your adress :ok: )

Just playing through.. and I have a fairly simple question.

Is there a "nice" way of exiting FotF? Meaning, a way that is actually coded into the program. Reason I'm asking is that while I am using DOSBox, I'm using an the old Brown Bag Power Menu for easy game switching (Personal pref. since I used it as a kid).

Thanks for any help in advance,
Solas

A truly fantastic game; it formed a large part of my childhood for a time, as it was one of the few PC games I ever bought in the early 90's.

The reviewer mentioned that it was a well-balanced game: he hit the nail right on the head. It's an extremely good game engine, which just feels right. The gavity, physics, special abilities - they are all very powerful yet very intuitive to use.

Added to that, the level design, and some of the ideas the underpin the puzzles, are second to none (well, maybe second to some of the all-time classics like Mario).

Also, the Mod music is great. Loopy, cheesy, slightly irritating, yes, but EXACTLY the type of music that a computer game requires.

In short, this is a brilliant game which, for reasons unknown to me, was never really the hit it deserved to be. Give it a try. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Steve

One of my all-time favs. I almost passed it several times, I just never had the patience to finish the last level (the machine), though I've been close a few times...

They also used it for Pac-in-time on the GameBoy (It was the first game I ever bought for that system :D ), and from the looks of the screenshots, they stole the levels and monsters as well as the engine. No matter though... it was one of my favourite games and it'll be interesting to see how it works as a PC thing :).

Guest 16-04-2005 08:49 PM

Warning: don't try to run it outside of DOSbox. Never say yes to anything the go.bat gives you if you run it in Windows, don't edit anything.

I managed to replace windows with the game by clicking a box. And, as it has no return-to-DOS function, I couldn't start Windows to change it back.

If it somehow does do this, insert a bootdisk at startup, start prompt from there, and alter the autoexec.bat file (like, put REM in front of the lines that run the game).

Just so you know.

VGG 18-04-2005 03:56 AM

Does anyone know how to exit the game without having to restart my computer? Yes, i went the whole mile and three quarters and installed MS-Dos on a different partition... sad but true, but i [i]need[i] my dos games, it's just annoying to restart the computer over and over after i want to play something else. Any help would be great, please.

It's a ctrl-combination, if I remember right. Try the usual: c, x, q, esc, z. It's one of those I think

Unfortunately, you HAVE to kill that darn mummy. THEN thesand drains away, so you can eat your way out. If you are going to kill him, get in, fire a fewshots at him, and GET OUT. Repeat.
That's how I beat him.. annoying little bugger.

BTW, has anyone beaten the last level? I got to a room full of some small creatures spamming bullets at you (killed me in a second). There was a big thing behind these that looked like a boss, but i couldn't get there alive. (The whole thing looks like a space invaders game.)

Final entry: I've tried about every combination of Ctrl+key. None of them exited my version. I also tried Alt+key, Shift+key, Ctrl+Alt+key etc. No luck. Guess this game wasn't made for quitting.

Jeremiah 06-05-2005 08:55 PM

Whee....my first post....can anyone help me out here? I'm stuck on one of the forest levels... I can see the exit but can't get to it. The level is the one where there's a big tree right in the middle and some branches at the very top. The exit is in the top left and I can't see anyway to get to it. It's trapped up in the branches and I can't get there....can anyone help?

bojster 06-05-2005 09:40 PM

Are you sure that there's only one exit?

Jeremiah 07-05-2005 03:48 AM

yeah...there's only one exit..but I found out what to do...the way to open up the end is to just hang there on a branch, and it will slowly fall down, not something I have previously thought to try, since there were several things trying to kill me right there...

to get past the copy-right protection you either need to get into the game through the "fury" application(it will be in french) or use dosbox and use the Go.bat

Throughout the whole of the final level, each page looks like a different computer game/superhero/comic book. They way to beat the final level is to not try to kill anything - just get past them without dying yourself. If I remember righty, you have to jump past the space invaders bit to the right of the screen then exit onto another 'mini level'.

The whole idea of the last level is to get to various exit points around the screen. Eventually you will end up in a room with three cogs. Once you find that, you win!

It's a bit of a crap level TBH. Quite difficult and largely boring. But you get the end credits when you win, so it's worth it.

This one had me for a while, but it's actually probably the easiest level in the game. At the very top of the screen, near the exit, you will see a faint arrow pointing to a small log. The log looks slightly detached from the rest of the branch. Simply change to the green furry and hang from it for a while. Try jiggling around, too. Eventually the log will fall and you can exit to the next level. You don't actually have to go to the right of the big tree at all.

Level 4 in the pyramid is straight out of "Indiana Jones and the last crusade".

The problem is that looong acid pool , isn't it?

The acid pool had me stumped for a while too, but the I remembered the bit about "a leap of faith". Just run out over the acid pool (don't jump, just believe) and keep running until you reach the end of the pool.

Hey, does anyone know how to pass mountain level 9? :help:
I´ve tried just about everything...

Rondo 11-08-2005 05:29 PM

mountain level 9 is the one with the "poma" (the thing to climb the mountain) that takes you to an ice bridge where a "bomber" blows himself and opens a hole.
going down de breaked bridge there´s a cow and an annoying beaver or something like that. :help:

JHE 18-08-2005 07:05 AM

Push the cow aside, and eat through the ground underneath it.
BTW isn't that the Milka cow?

Floppy 18-08-2005 12:29 PM

Hi,I've got a problem with playing fury. It's all in slow motion...so I downloaded dosbox for windows. But I don't know what to do right now...install the game on/in dosbox (if yes:how?) or what??? :help:

Rondo 23-08-2005 03:41 AM

i have just finished the game...
Thanks JHE, That level was driving me crazy! i don´t know about the cow, but i could swear i`ve seen that beaver in a cartoon before.

To Floppy: install dosbox and run it.
The type "mount c c:\games\fury" (or wherever you have fury... installed on)
then type "c:"
and then "fury"
To change the speed of the game use ctrl+f8 or f7 and ctrl+f12 or f11.
listen to the music to know which would be the "normal" speed of the game.

Floppy 12-09-2005 09:18 AM

Thanks!Now it's working fine.I love this game!!!! :w00t:

caligari 30-09-2005 11:17 PM

can someone help me? i don't know what to do in the third part of the lagon level... i always fall in the water and can't get out... and it seems impossible NOT to fall in the water... probably the green one would help but there's only the yellow one...

Gelfo 04-10-2005 11:42 PM

Ah Cool, this game bring back memories of annoyance. The second disc of My amiga copy of it was corrupted..so I couldnt play it for ages. (think the first was just the intro) so frustrating. But I got another copy eventualy.

Very fun game, but I slightly prefer Lost Vikings, which is similar..

Predcon1 30-10-2005 06:12 PM

Here's a silly question. How do I switch between tinies? I haven't played this game in forever, and I've forgotten how some of these things work. Is there a manual available online someplace?

Elmo 06-11-2005 08:17 PM

Jut press the down arrow. :D

Celerox 09-01-2006 02:14 PM

umm this game gives a hard time for some reson.
1.i use the dos emulating prog and when it gets to the language selction all i can see is the mouse crusor

Guest 29-01-2006 03:04 PM

anibody know how to pass level 5 of the lagoon? im stick there. its the one hat has that red thing surfing, and the current is too strong and doesnt let you go to the exit.

wormpaul 01-02-2006 05:40 PM

Guys..

Whenever you can help this kid plz do it!!

He already asked me on MSN but ill simply doensnt know anymore...so when anyone got a good idea please stand up and speak :Brain:

JHE 02-02-2006 02:48 PM

Lagoon level 5.. let's see...

If i recall correctly, you need to push a log into the water, and stand on it along the water on the upper level. The current should carry you right until the waterfall, which you may now simply jump across.

pcat 26-02-2006 12:37 AM

Has anyone passed the mountain level 7?

I don't know if it is an error with the game or if I am missing something but I can't open the second locked door. I have got both keys and it doesn't matter which I use first, it still seems to only open one of the doors.

Note: I have the Mac version, just in case it is a bug in the game.

Hi,

I am up to the last level. I cannot see to find the way to the exit.. I've been looking for ages! I am in a room which is pretty mcuh a pinball table and I can see the previously mentioned room with 3 cogs above but I can't find any way to get out of the room (except for the way I came in).

I have the original game on my Amiga.
I have no Floppy Disk Drive on my Laptop.

Sorry if this is a really basic question but I really would be so greatful for anyone who can help me :)

Thanks in advance

Now, now. Let's be kind here. They are young, most likely. Uneducated in the matters of computing before GUIs, yes. But let's be kind. After all, they are the rising generation and we're old and gray and they grump into our houses to mooch a meal as we sit on our rocking chair, and complain that they don't have anything to play because Halo 23's latest level patch is still a month away and everything else is just the same old thing, we can whip out our old 386, turn on the monitor, and boot up Fury of the Furries for them and show them that at one point, when we were younger, games were good.

I probalby won't be choosing Fury of the Furries, but whatever.

Rafał 06-05-2006 09:23 PM

I thnk it's level before last level. It's small level - you're fighting with black guy. First you'll making him smaller and smaller, but then he's got a shield. And i don't know what to do.

Does anyone know how to get this thing to run in english? I'm guessing that it updates lang.dat or suchlike with the chosen language?

Btw: for those that were complaining about copy protection - just remove 'lang' from go.bat ;)

Actually.. never mind. I've figured it out. Dosbox doesn't seem to like the 'intro' line in go.bat. SSLLOOWW - but the game runs fine. *shrugs* Ah well, edited it out, and it works fine.. in english!

Hi every one, at first i wanna to sorry for my bad english. I have a problem with furry of the furries in last level. I finished the game about 10 years ago and in the last level - that one with big "THE END" leters on center of screen and well stands on down. Sol i don't know what to do in it. there is only green furries avaiable and one of letter of THE END are squze when i jump on it. Very long ago i heard rumor that you need to jump on that letter so far as it fall down and then drag it with a rope to the well, but i try to do this many times and that letter dont fall down. Can every one help me with that? I saw on this forum that the Warmpaul finished that game so can i ask to do me a favor and tell did he trought that last stage of furries? Now i have the savestate from furry and i can play that level in every moment i want, becouse i use WinUae to emulate amiga. That emulator gives an option to save every moment of game you want. This is very comfortable thing and its helps a lot.

basically this is the end, but if you want - it is possible to enter another sort of bonus screen by getting into the lower part of the whood on your left. it sends you into a tree top and from there to another screen that contains clouds and thank you titles to those who helped writing the game.

NoOne 18-08-2006 08:12 AM

What do you mean "whood"? i don't know what it is. And still don't know how get to those other part of the end. Can you describe me again what to do step by step? Please
Maybe you can do some screenshots?

NoOne 18-08-2006 02:27 PM

I made it ! :-) this another part of End looks like that - http://www.fotosik.pl/pokaz_obrazek/...1c6a95990.html

To go in to you have to make long distance run from right edge of screen to the left, the secret teleport is behind that red one fury, who is waving when you stand close him. But i have felling that its not everything and there is some more secrets in this last part of the game. I still thinking about that E letter squeze when you jump on it. Perhaps i never know.

Anyway

Thanks for help !

Hi! It is true that this game's gameplay is so slow? Is there any way to get it faster. It is very frustrating to play so slow :wallbash:

Guest 02-10-2006 01:46 PM

I dont usually post in forums, but i want to post here because it is my all time favorite game on my old Amiga 500.

Glad to see nobody flamed this stunning game. To this day i still cant get past the techno world, its sooo hard. The game went from easy to ridiculous over soo many levels, which is the way games used to be. Retro games were not there to be completed, favorite example gauntlet.

The gameplay is slow sometimes and some levels are very tough, but in a way it becomes like boulderdash. think before you move :D

Green rope dude is imba !!

Change to the green guy.
Stand beside any brick that you can push, or looks like it can be pushed.
Press and hold the spacebar, and he'll use his chain/rope to pull it along behind him as he walks.

Hey guys,
I have the same problem. I'm stuck in the pinball room of The Machine. I can only see three ways out: to the left of the screen, which is not accessible from the pinball table but only passes it by, and from where I came earlier on in the game; to the right, by swimming, which leads me back to the screen with the assembly line - this is where I came from; and finally, up on top of the screen, there's a small room with a teleport and a way out. My question is, where's the other end of the teleport? Please don't tell me I need to go back to the last screen and through the whole room "backwards" :(
Any one of you guys who's completed the game, could you please write a description of how to beat the machine level, and especially the pinball room? It would be greatly appreciated!

Yup, that's right. As soon as the black guy has gotten smaller two times, just shoot the cage and it'll drop. Note that nothing will happen if you shoot the cage before you've managed to get enough shots in at the black guy.

Guest 27-11-2006 04:25 PM

Ok, I just completed the game, so I thought I'd help everyone else trying to figure out The Machine.
You need to go right in the space invaders screen, like someone already said. To get there, go up in the first screen, take the first exit on the left in the lemmings screen, then right in the screen with the guy who looks like Duke Nukem. This'll take you to the space invader screen; now just pass the invaders and go down.
If you run short on lives, rather than start over (the first screen is the hardest of them all), head for the pinball screen (down from the Duke screen and left). You can get as many lives here as you want.

Guest 02-12-2006 04:09 AM

I'm stuck on level 1 of the village. I figured out how to ring the bell and get the dude that shoots out but I cn't kill it. The exit is on the top left corner and I can't jump onto it from the roof or the chimney. Green furry does not help.

Thanks for the help.

Fury of the Furries is pretty dang excellent. It was the first computer game I ever bought, way back on my Windows 3.1 machine, 4MB RAM LOL. Brilliant stuff!

It was good fun to complete it again :D

Can anyone suggest a game similar to this that that has a similar logical thinking content and isn't just shooty shooty! I'd like to play more of this style arcade game but its hard to find. Any suggestions?

Well, having lost my oriiginal copy of FotF 12 years ago, I no longer have the code sheet LOL. But what I did to play the downloaded version was just to run fury.exe in DOSbox and it skips the code and runs the game, except you cant chose a language so it runs in French :P

run 'lang', select language with arrow keys and press space
press 'esc' when code prompt comes up
screen will be black but just type 'fury' press enter and it will work fine

( or just edit go.bat to remove the intro line and then the same just press 'esc' when the code comes up :)

as posted earlier 'enter' + 'esc' quits out

Nathanel 23-04-2007 12:48 AM

Ehmmm.... Hi.

I totally love this game and as most of you guys I've spent about half of my childhood playing it. Now, after 3947293 years I would like to come back to it, so I downloaded, it, mounted in dosbox and... WTF? Is it some problem with my sound drivers or is there really no sound whatsoever (apart from crappy music) in PC version of this game? Amiga version that I used to play had diferent music (less crappy, a bit darker in mood, much more fitting) and really beautiful, simple but beautiful sounds of the monsters dying, tinies changing form and firing and generally creatures doing things... Are they really completely absent in PC version? :"(

If so, gotta tinkle with Winuae a bit... Anyone seen FotF Amiga images? :]

_r.u.s.s. 23-04-2007 12:23 PM

on begining there are options on the bottom
sounds: reglage des sons -> sons
music: choix de la musicaue 'classic' or 'fun'
(i dunno i forgot to change it to english or something, but i got french version from abandonia)

Guest 23-04-2007 04:08 PM

Oh dear, that was dumb not to check the options menu. Thx very much for your help. Nevertheless, I got the sounds and it's great, I've changed the music and it's not great as it is still different than in Amiga version. :(

The music is awesome in this version how can u say its not as good. Btw - I second your oppinion of this game, it is da bomb! and such a classic of my childhood :P

bbk 14-06-2007 12:21 PM

For people who like the music, check out Elmobo's (the writer) websites and bands : conkrete studios (metal mastering studio) and plug in band.

BTW, I'm trying to figure out how to record videos within dosbox without getting a crash. When ok, I'll record the levels (no speedrun, just hints...) and post them to youtube. If anyone's interested, let me know (note that your contributions are welcome here ;) ). Note that I plan to record each level one at a time.

ellpooty 20-06-2007 06:51 AM

wow bbk, that'd take some time. But I cant deny that I was thinking about doing the very same thing myself.

There is one program that I was able to use to take recordings:
www.hypercam.com

Though I only tried it as a test and recorded 4 levels of the pyramid there were no problems in the performance or quality.

trikztar 23-06-2007 01:57 AM

Fury of the furries. What can I say - a long lost classic found it's way back to me! I'm thrilled - used to play this on my neighbours amiga, and I totally loved it. Let's see if it can still hold my attention.

I'm stuck on I think its Village level 9 were you face the big black fury. I managed to destroy his crossbow but he started shooting bullets which are hard to dodge. Every time I shoot back and then jump over the bullets I always land on them and die. Is there an easier way to beat the level.

Im afraid not, u cant transform and there is little space to fight him. It's definitely the hardest level of the game. All I can suggest is try not to bounce 3 times, only twice. If you bounce 3 times you hit the ceiling and that tends to knock you into his bullets.

Also remember that once you hit him enough times to bring him down to his smallest size (about the size of your furry) and the shield drops off the wall, you then need to shoot the cage above him and not at him.

99draiwil 15-09-2007 12:47 PM

Anyone please help me? Im stuck on Factory level 6 with the Red furry jumping from side to side, have no idea what to do because the damn thing doesnt die. Someone already asked but they got no reply....

btw, i love this great copyright protection- "Winners don't use copies" hoping desperately to deter :bleh:

And heres a little glitch, When youre the green furry, try to hook something that moves, now and again it crashes because you catch inside the object. The screen is frozen but the Music still plays. Just keep hammering the space bar :wallbash: :wallbash:

Ginjah 19-09-2007 07:54 AM

Man even these days, this game is still very challenging!

Nothing like the games from the good ol' days :kosta:

ellpooty 19-09-2007 01:06 PM

Factory Level 6, if I remember correctly u have to use green guy to pull a large crate aside, where behind it lies a lever which opens a door. You dont have to kill the red forky men. The crate that can be moved is one in a stack of crates I believe.

Guest 14-10-2007 11:01 PM

The redistribution of abandonware is illegal. It's a simple case of copyright infringement - but a non-prosecuted crime in the vast majority of cases.

I wanted to know if anybody knows what's the "legality" to redistribute this (or any abandonware) game, so I want to include it on a linux distribution :)

I know some things about the Kalisto enterprise: it has closed long time ago and all the workers has almost dissapear, so... what's the legality/license/permissions to redistribute this game ?

If anybody knows, please reply

Thanks

no, you don't want to redistribute it on a linux distro. you will most probably get pulled off (unless it's an underground distro)

linux distros contain only and only free and open software, and that's the magic behind it!

Those little guys were featured in an amiga game called "Tiny Squeaks." On the pc it went by another name. The game was more of a puzzle game than this appears to be. Yet I see their white gloved hands, fleshy feet, and colored fluff(fur) puffballs standing in this game.

HOTO has the pc version in the puzzle section somewhere. I can't recall its name.

Nope, it isn't todays screenshot. :bleh1:
Screenshot is from another game, there is a difference, a small detail, but you can easily see it.
You'll have to wait till tomorrow for the 'detail', we don't wanna spoil the quiz , oh no, we don't.

For the people who want this game in English.
You just have to go to run LANG.EXE and once you select your langauge.
Type in AAAAAA as the password for the game, it works for me and I'm it right now!

Secret Levels

Hi everyone who loves Fury Of the Furries, I always loved this game, I play it since I was 3 (now I'm 17). The thing is that I love when I enter the secret parts of the levels. For example in first level (desert) to enter to the secret part you must cross through the big palm and then you dispel appearing in the secret part.

I have some questions, because I want to know if someone has reached to all secret parts. I founded a way to look for all secret parts. You have to play the version Pac In Time, which is nearly the same, and use the trainer (don't know the name, but you can find it if you search for it in google). The trainer has a trick, you can skip a level or return to the previous level. You can do it when you are in a secret part, if you press the skip key you can see a different secret part, and if you press the return key you will see the previuos secret. The thing is that skipping and returning have a limit, sometimes when you skip a secret part the game crashes.
The good thing is that I discovered more secret parts, and I tried to find them while I play the levels.

Some secrets need to be opened to go through them, like munching a place or shooting to a block. For these you need to change to the correct furry, but sometimes you don't have the correct furry. To solve this problem, you use the "add furry" key (using the trainer), which are F3, F4,F5, F6 as I remember.

I discovered a lot of secret parts in mountain levels using the skip/return key, but didn't find how to reach to them through the entire levels. Some seems to be really hidden.

If someone has reached to mountains secrets parts please help me!, because I ever wanted to know how to reach to them.

BTW, if someone needs help with passing a level I can help you, as I know a lot of this game and know how to pass every level and every part ;)

Hope someone read this...

Fury of the Furries is an excellent game and was my favorite back in the Amiga500 days. Intuitive game-play, good music and sound effects, well designed levels that challenge both the player's brain and dexterity. I really enjoyed it although I remember been stuck at the forest "falling leaf" level then at pyramid "walking above acid" level. Back then, there was no internet to get hints.

I recently installed the DOS version and rediscovered the fun of this game. I also noticed it contains a lot of Easter eggs and cross-references like Star Wars, Shakespeare, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Rover from The Prisoner, Little Red Riding Hood, The Smurfs, Cool Spot...

The small animations of idle tiny bring a funny plus to this well made game. Did anyone discover the following: Having the red tiny idle for a while near a movable brick will trigger an animation event: he’ll lean against the brick then the brick will slide a few pixels away and the tiny will fall on the ground. So, keep your eyes open for such gems while playing and enjoy them!

I know this means giving up, but I guess this is my last resort. I can't possibly beat Castle level 9. No way. I tried tens of times with no success. Only twice or maybe three times I managed to get as far as to make the boss shrink for the first time... So I guess that if I don't cheat, I'll probably never be able to see the further levels.
I know there are ways to edit something in the game to move forward by cheating. However, once I downloaded a hex editor and I couldn't find the required fragment in the file, so I gave up, manipulating files is not a solution for "computer legs". (I've seen there are some people from Poland here, for all the others: "noga" - literally "leg" - is a colloquial expression for someone who doesn't have a clue about something.) I'm thinking about a different solution: if someone has a game saved at the Machine, could I gain access to it by copying files from him or her?
I know it's dishonest, but some less agile people aren't able to solve the problem in a normal way.

Another question: I decided to try cheating - just to pass this horrible level, than I would change it back (more precisely, after having the game saved at the Machine). There is information on what to change in the hex format. I even managed to view the file in this format... however, I can't find the required series of characters. As if it just wasn't in the file. What should I do? Has anyone tried the immunity cheat?

Just throw fire balls to the boss until it gets as tiny as it can, then throw balls to the cage above, it will fall down and trap the boss inside. The block in the middle will open the exit.
It's not easy to do this but it's the only way, also because I don't think it's able to copy files from someone else.
So... good luck!

I have a trainer which can allow you to skip levels, activate or deactivate the furries whenever you want, add coins, lives or time.
You can download it here:

http://megagames.com/trainers/fury-furries

Or you can find it in google, just put "fury of the furries trainer"

Bye!!!
