Well, I play it since around October of the last yearm so I got some experience already. Though I never played Hardcore. Not that it would be too hard, but I never had needed items there, so didn't want to start there too...

I got friend who plays diablo for 5 years he told me many things for the game so I have expirience to :ok:

Diablo 2 is a nice game, even tough it shows that the fourth act is really butched. They really could have done better.

My problem with Diablo II is that by the time I get a character to level 30 I get so bored to death with it that I never play it again... :rolleyes:

Do you play in single?

Single is not interesting... Battle-net though is the real thing and makes much fun.

I actually bought Diablo II and Lord of Destruction exp.pack a while ago, but haven't got round to playing it yet.
From reading your comments it sounds like a game that will take a shitload of time to really get anywhere in. :blink: :angry:

Well, the game, if playing in Battle-net, is really interesting but needs much time. And yes, now with patch 1.10 it's not that easy anymore to play without really good equipment. So you need to get the best items wherever possible.

leveling in diablo can be gay. Get someone to rush yea through norm, go to the cow level, party, and sit there till you are level 60 in 10 min! LOL. My friend stopped playing Diablo ever since that patch that destroyed all the hacks came out. He had Strength Gloves and a nice Grandfather Sword.

here is my system you make act 1 and 2 then some cow runs till lvl 26 then you find some1 kind enough to rush ( not an easy task) till act 4 + ancients and then you make baalruns till lvl 4~.you repeate the same thing in nightmare and hell altough is difficul to find someone to rush you.Today I killed the ancients in night with some other guys lvl ~50 and now i'm leceling up :ok:

1. Im dead bored of the game since I've competed it about 1345252 times
2. I don't have internet connection and even If I would, I propably wouldn't play it.
3. I like to play it only on LAN with FRIENDS

Even more boring. You see, there is something called LAG which bog the game down... Even on cable... :rolleyes:

Actually, this is the usual system for leveling:
Normal
Lvl 1-11 / 12 - Act 1
Lvl 12-17 - Act 2
Lvl 17-20 - Act 4 through and arrive in act 5
Lvl 20-24 - Cow level, someone with high Level (60-99) has to kill them for very good experience
Lvl 24 - Ancients
Lvl 25 - Baalruns until lvl 45-50, 50 is max
Nightmare
Levels don't matter, play with many in games and go through it
Should be level 55-60, Ancients at level 40 or higher possible
Baalruns until level 75-80
Hell is pretty clear then, Ancients from level 60 on possible, then Baalruns.

That is only true if you play in singleplayer. :not_ok:
Play it in Battle-net, you'll have MUCH more fun there. And in Battle-net you won't get that many experience with lvl 13 anymore in Act 1. It would take then much time. So you'll have to go on to act 2 to get experience quickly again. And with many people together it's pretty easy to be with lvl 12 in Act 2.

Yes. The gaming industry made a very good job of stealing genre names to boost their game sales. Like Red Alert which is supposedly a "strategy" game, or Diablo II which is supposedly a "RPG"... While in fact it's some heavy lies.

well... ive been playin D2 since... well... mebbe 2 years? but anyways, imma give my 2 cents on D2...

about wat he said about items, not necessarily... you dont need the best items in the world to be able to fight well... the main thing is, KEEP UNIQUES AND RARES because they usually tend to be good (well better then magic and regular items, thats for sure)... another important parts about characters are the SKILL DISTRIBUTION and STAT DISTRIBUTION... but if it comes down to PVP then, ITEMS MAKE THE CHARACTER along with the BUILD (stats, skills)

if you know what you are doing, leveling up does not take that long... this is how i found the best way to level up...

1. Get rushed through norm
2. Get to lvl 5-7 killing in Blood Moor and Cold Plains
3. Do Tristam Runs in Act 1 until about lvl 10-12
4. Do Sewer Runs in Act 2 until lvl 15
5. Tomb Runs in Act 2 until lvl 20
6. Do Cow Runs until lvl 24
7. Do Ancients in Act 5 to get to lvl 25
8. Do Normal Baal Runs until maybe lvl 45-50 (MAKE SURE NOT TO KILL BAAL!!!)
9. Get rushed in Nightmare, then do Baal Runs in Nightmare until about lvl 65-70
10. Once in Hell difficulty... LOL, GOOD LUCK! and take it as you wish

Overall, D2 is a great game... I myself take a liking to Bone Necromancers... since im more of the dueling type...

I was never really a fan of Diablo. It just wasn't very fun for me, hacking and slashing the same thing over and over again just got monotonous. I tried playing on Battle.net once and everyone there had weird names like "xo02548socboobs32450xx" and tried to kill me. It was really weird.

i did play this addictive devil of a game on europe at one point named as "Gr8FuQ" but ive given it up since (played for 3 yrs though). too many newbies wanted to know how to hack. and 1.10 didn't destroy the hacking community at all, i never got detected using maphack or d2hackit. i didn't try duping at all but i was at one point an open player (i did use edited chars btw)
i could still go on it and do ok but i really don't wanna get back into it

ya... people still hack on D2. almost every1 has maphack, some people dupe items, some use auto aim, pickit seems popular, and hmm... i think those r the major hacks on D2. im still playing the game, cuz i still think that its STILL one of the best games out there right now...

1. many character classes (though most of them are cookie cutters)
2. many items to get/collect/etc
3. dueling can be fun (given that you have good items)

but mostly, i play cuz my friends r still playing too... its always fun to go play a game with all ur friends, the co-op type of thing. i dunno, its still fun to me, after playing it for a few years :ok:

Oh! and i found out something that was even more annoying that getting from lvl 1-20, it was getting a mercenary's lvl up from 1-20, bcuz its such a PAIN IN THE behind! haha, try it! LOL
