...think about this?

Dave 24-03-2007 11:27 PM

Is it a joke?
Commodore is still alive????? :brain:
I want a super Amiga!

Titan 25-03-2007 12:47 AM

Unfortunally, it's nothing more the a regulare PC pimped up with a price-tag to match it.

Nice machines, but a bit too heavy tag for me.

Hadiel 25-03-2007 03:15 AM

Think alienware... 'Nuff said.

_r.u.s.s. 25-03-2007 12:38 PM

can we see prices somewhere?
btw it d be even nicer pc with amd..

Lulu_Jane 25-03-2007 12:43 PM

I wouldn't mind one, just so that my gaming life finally travels full circle.

It makes me warm inside to see a dinosaur rising from the dead :)

Tulac 25-03-2007 12:50 PM

They're just using the commodore brand to sell rigged up PC's.

That's exactly what I thought. But bringing up a SuperAmiga would be quite questionable on the market.
But you're right. Too said that it's just the name...

gregor 25-03-2007 05:29 PM

housing is customized and it is supposed to have been made ready for games.

DonCorleone 25-03-2007 10:10 PM

And there are some interesting housings, aren't there?
Too bad, I'm not that involved into games... Otherwise I would have to compare those commodores and alienware machines. But the name commodore is a point, me thinks :D
Besides, the company has the very high aim to become state of the art in the gaming sector... Let's wait and see. Maybe there will come a super-amiga :)

Dave 25-03-2007 10:25 PM

I really hope it...the good thing is that they have a c64 emulator inside....and maybe they can do the same thing with amiga

_r.u.s.s. 25-03-2007 10:41 PM

i dont understand. whats so exciting about it? its just normal computer

DonCorleone 26-03-2007 11:47 AM

I'm not really excited, either. Though I regard this as somehow interesting how they are trying to bring up this "cult" brand back to the market. But I agree: just with a normal computer with custom cases this might be somehow..uhm...hard!?

Maybe they make commodore special by its prices... :D

Why is that good? I dont need a quad core processor to run c64 games...
