Hello everyone!

Once I've played a very nice puzzle game: the player had to arrange train wagons, sorted by colours, moving them with a steam locomotive (mouse click&drag-on-tracks) on a certain track layout per level. The sidings were short, not capable of receiving more than 1 or 2 wagons. The jump to the next level was triggerd by the correct pattern of the wagon colours and right position of the loco, all on the correct track (pattern given in a small window displayed by the game).
I've deleted the game several years ago. Now I'd like to play it again but I do not remeber it's name nor I can find it on the Net. Can anyone help, please?

Thank you!

I've found an image...but I don't think that will help you much.

In progress of remembering the game's name... :wallbash:

Radu 06-09-2007 01:33 PM

Thank you, but that image is not from that game.
All I can slightly remember is that the game might be russian. I,ve tried the game "Parovoz" but it is not that one. After MANY long sessions of searching the Net, I have zero results. I'll keep trying!
Thanks again!

Thanks guys for helping, btw Mighty I think we should wait what Radu answer and then maybe we will split the topic for your requests ;)

Good morning everybody and thank you for your help!

I'm sure it is not Gartriage (not the name, nor the picture). I'll try it (I like trains very much), if it can be legally downloaded or bought from the Net. The game I'm talking about has nicer graphics and a small window showing the train that has to be obtained by moving the wagons. The cinematics between levels is a track (or a locomotive), at the bottom of the screen, getting longer to the next point (flag? - can't recall exactly).

Hi everybody,

I think I've found it! Though I couldn't make any downloads to check, I think it's CHOO CHOO MINDER and it is part of a collection - CRAZY GAMES 2000 - . This info came accidentally in a chat with a friend.
Can anyone point a source for downloading/buy-it-on-CD?

Thank you again for your help and, by the way, I like Gartriage!

Dave 10-09-2007 11:44 AM

I didn't find any info about your game, are you sure about the name?

Ermuli 10-09-2007 01:51 PM

David, are your googling skills a bit rusty today? Check this:

Choo Choo Minder

And I found already a download link which works... :ok:

Dave 10-09-2007 03:14 PM

I dunno what to say Ermuli, I still don't find your link with google...maybe it's because Russian sites make me sick

Btw thanks, now I've found something ("Nikita Ltd" helped me much)
Here there's a list of Nikita Ltd games:
http://games.nikita.ru/nikgameeng/products/pc.php
But there's nothing about "Choo choo minder", probably it's Abandonware.

Finally I've found the direct link...Russian site, probably full of warez (I say probably...because I don't understand much :) ).

Choo Choo Minder (1994) Developed & Published by Nikita Ltd
Nikita Ltd isn't under ESA protection.

Btw now we have to find if it's still sold into the collection "CRAZY GAMES <2000>"
...asking again help to russ...

no russian people care about software policy :P you walk in to stores (normal, big, official stores) and there are 5 bucks re-ripped games with brand new cd cover

but what david found- http://gamemaster.ru/catalogue/index.php?S...sHead&ID=99 is not a warez site but actually a site where you can order cds
BUT i ensure you that they just burn new cds with stuff collected on their HDDs and sell it, like many other people in russia

i dont think you would find another place where to order the compilation "officialy" (and i have tried too) since even those "compilations" include warez and esa protected games, without any license (yes, they sell stolen stuff)
..well, russia is russia

Luchsen 10-09-2007 10:21 PM

Russia, I'm coming!

_r.u.s.s. 10-09-2007 10:22 PM

dont bring any expensive cars otherwise you ll have to get a new one, unless you are a part of some organised crime group

Dave 10-09-2007 10:25 PM

Well...thanks LOL, it was impossible to understand those strange crazy russian letters :bleh:
Ok then...Approved ^_^

_r.u.s.s. 10-09-2007 10:41 PM

well, here s the link then, in case somebody didnt manage to type in choocho.zip in to google http://galeb.etf.bg.ac.yu/~kalanj/get_file...2Fchoocho%2Ezip

Luchsen 10-09-2007 10:44 PM

I'm considering if I should write a review, it's a funny rare game. But maybe someone with knowledge of Russian is a better choice.

_r.u.s.s. 10-09-2007 10:46 PM

NO :D

Dave 10-09-2007 10:50 PM

With your assertion russ...I want a review NOW! :whops:

_r.u.s.s. 10-09-2007 10:54 PM

it would blow my cover cause i wouldnt even finish first level
edit: wops
