Police Quest - SWAT 1

i played this game when i was younger, and i was wondering if you could get it here if it is abandonwear

Danny252 12-04-2004 07:30 AM

Thats a sierra game.. they might be selling it... still, at ridicoulously high prices.

Police SWAT

I have this old game on cd's. If it is possible (and Kosta allows it) I could upload it to him or his associates, so that they could break it down for others to download from this site.

SierraFan 07-03-2005 12:28 AM

Is it abandoned yet? If so, what's it's status in terms of being available for download on this site?

Gun Man 07-03-2005 02:15 AM

Yeah i think....too,too old must be an abandonware

littleguybrush 07-03-2005 03:07 AM

I don't think it really matters if it's abandoned or not. If I recall correctly, it spans something like 4 cds. Way too big.

Edit: Yup. 4 cds

Sinther 07-03-2005 05:51 AM

i have Swat 2 it about 162 MB in 50 ace archives if it is abandoned im willing to upload it

Gun Man 07-03-2005 04:06 PM

Is not an abandonware. But a fun game at all :rifle:

Maybe we're not talking about the same game. The game I'm thinking of (and the one I posted a picture of the box for) is an FMV game simmilar to Gabriel Knight 2 or Phantasmagoria (however you spell the name of that horrible, horrible game). It's huge.

DeathDude 07-03-2005 11:08 PM

Yeah that's the one I thought that was being mentioned with FMV's and all too.

ACK! I seem to be the only one who loves the ridiculously cheesy Phantasmagoria series (though the second one is far better). I suppose they are a guilty pleasure then.

As for Swat I've played the original and it's pretty fun, if I recall it's definately on 4 cds. The one I want to get my mitts on is Swat 3 but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. :not_ok:

TheSmyth 15-03-2005 01:17 PM

Swat 3 is still sold. It's part of the "Sold Out" collection. Try HMV / Virgin / Game or any big dealer, in the cheap section. :sniper:

Timpsi 15-03-2005 02:06 PM

SWAT 1 at CDAccess
SWAT 2 at CDAccess
SWAT 3 at CDAccess, and Elite Edition at CDAccess
All in one at Play.com.

Calamity 15-03-2005 02:11 PM

! :D Thanks a bunch guys. As much as people whine about it here, I really am glad places still sell certain games because other than that some of them would be impossible to find.

punch999 30-07-2005 04:06 PM

Horrible game I heard dont even bother. and police quest 2 swat the sequal was pretty damn buggy so i dont excpect better

tomf 01-08-2005 05:14 PM

I would really like it

Swiebertje13 01-08-2005 06:11 PM

http://www.cdaccess.com/html/quick/swatpo.htm

http://www.cdaccess.com/html/quick/003358.htm

http://www.cdaccess.com/html/quick/swatcarppr.htm

Also wasn't this FMV (so I guess big).....and Sierra = ESA AFAIK.

punch999 02-08-2005 07:22 AM

It was a fmv game and btw read gamespots review of it review

the graphics btw are so good and are mostly 3d or pictures and that would be impossible to put up. and dont even ask about swat 2 it is still sold. which i give the award to worst RTS of all time

Tom Henrik 02-08-2005 10:02 AM

Oh, just about a year and three months...

Tom Henrik 02-08-2005 10:10 AM

All posts have a timestamp, you know ;)

Well. Police Quest SWAT is still sold and is also ESA Protected. Not a game we are likely to host in the near future.

Now... can anyone locate my first post and second? :sneaky:

In that case it's the one directly above the first one you made as a registered user.

Tom Henrik 02-08-2005 10:30 AM

Congratulations. You are correct.
It seems that the names of guests are erased after a time, as I had written Tom Henrik as the name when I posted that post. Then I joined the forum and posted the second post (as I could not edit the guest post) :)

Police Quest SWAT

Requesting this iso because I am a Sierra collector and I can't find this thing anywhere. Made doubly annoying by the fact that I have about everything else Sierra did, and three of the four original CDs this came on. Pls help if you can, thanks!
