Unable to update profile correctly
 

I'm unable to select my city wehen updating my profile. In the drop down menu there are no options available. there were options just a few days ago can anyone help?

Have you made the selections in Country and State fields?

Country: South Africa
State: Western Cape

Then there are no available cities and it wont let me save my status with out entering a city so just made a random selection from the USA for now

I'm from British Cloumbia, Canada and it won't let me choose a city either. no pop
down list. Any ideas?:confused:

select something else... like Albania...

I have the same problem. Can't update my profile because there are no available cities to choose from no matter what country and state I put.

Yeah, seems like something mysterious is going on here...

I just wanted to change my stupid interim avatar, and then all German cities were gone. I changed to Brussels, Belgium, but couldn't change the avatar, and then Brussels disappeared, too!

Now I'm too frightened to go to bed...

As I said elsewhere, I can't change my avatar. It does change in my profile's page, but my posts show always the first one.

Go to http://www.abandonia.com/en/user/ and then the Edit tab.

I bet that doesn't work.

It does't work for me tried uploading a new avatar over the old one did't work. then first deleting the old one (which works) then loading the new one this does't work either it always goes back to the original.

Already tried a dozen times, still no luck.

Hmmm, I just changed my avvy, and it works like a charm. Updated in all posts I've seen so far.

Went to my profile -> Edit, and uploaded a new pic. No deleting of the old one.

i did that and it wanted me to name a city, but there was no option for it. so i am now from Albania i gues... :-D

Oookay. So the problem apparently was that now my city selection was gone so I couldn't update my profile at all. I hadn't noticed because I did have a city selected, but it got lost, and moreover now my city no loger is in the list, but it was back then when I updated my profile for the first time. So I've just moved to Switzerland it seems, yay. And the avatars were indeed broken down a while ago, because I had different ones in my profile (updated) and in my posts (first one) --and yes I did refresh--, and 5th Horseman reported the same at the time...

Yeah just noticed the same issue here, with trying to select a Canadian city, as stated earlier, hence why couldn't also update my avi, which have been trying to do so, even with some of the methods that have been suggested earlier.

Contrarily to what would seem, I did manage to update my avatar, only that with a very similar one. :P Only that my city's not on the list, and in my case I really think it was before. And I tried changing my avatar again, and it didn't work a second time, again it changed in my profile and not in my posts even refreshing. Will try again later, but everything looks pretty precarious. :P

Dunno if this is a sign of people getting back to work on the site after the Holidays but i was able to select my provice and City with no problems today:)

Yeah was also able to do the same yesterday and finally was able to change my avi too. :D
