Monster Bash [SOLD]

Hi,
I search Monster Bash but i can't find it. In this game you are a Boy with a Slingshoot and you go trough levels full of undeads like green zombies.
Please help me.

Monster Bash

Don't have too high hopes. This is an Apogee game, and they are notorious for keep selling their games.

The chance that this game is abandonware is slim, but if it is, then we will place it up for sure.

Kon-Tiki 21-12-2004 10:49 PM

Monster Bash... one hell of a game, but still sold, along with Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, Word Rescue, Math Rescue, Pickle Wars, Secret Agent, Crystal Caves, Paganitzu, etc.

Ioncannon 21-12-2004 11:23 PM

had awsome music too :D

Tuttle 22-12-2004 09:21 AM

Yup, $10 like most other old Apogee games. http://store.yahoo.com/3drealms/dowit.html

mrpeenut24 22-12-2004 09:31 AM

another great one in the Doom era was Strife....unfortunately, its also still sold.

Kon-Tiki 22-12-2004 01:52 PM

Strife still being sold? How come I got a couple of different version of it from the net then... and not from warez-sites? :bleh:

mikebarry 03-01-2005 11:05 AM

yar, me too. We must be special :ok:

mrpeenut24 03-01-2005 12:41 PM

LOL i thought it was still sold... :bleh: ive had the shareware version on cd since it came out! now thats a game that needs to be up here!!!

Kon-Tiki 03-01-2005 03:07 PM

Been asking Kosta for permission to add it a month ago, and often too. I'll bug him 'bout it again.

Wael 03-01-2005 03:14 PM

But for now they may settle for the "amateurish :sneaky: " work from HotU

trackersimon 26-01-2005 08:13 PM

In the beginning, there's a boy in a area like a graveyard, it's a action jump and run!
He had weapons to kill monsters but i do not remember anymore things :/

wormpaul 27-01-2005 05:26 PM

Question was already asnwered :ok:

Kon-Tiki 27-01-2005 06:02 PM

Wasn't Zombies Ate My Neighbours top-down? And Splatterhouse's not a kid, but a guy with a hockeymask :D

xoopx 27-01-2005 06:23 PM

i get so excited with blood splattering graveyard games, i get carried away

Kon-Tiki 27-01-2005 06:28 PM

Can't deny that Splatterhouse's good fun. Kept me captivated right to the end. Zombies Ate My Neighbours got boring a bit too soon. Then again, played it on the Snes, not on the PC, so might be due to different version.

MasterGrazzt 28-01-2005 04:09 AM

Funny, I'm wearing a Monster Bash shirt as we speak. My dad has been a member of the PCCT (Public Computer Club of Toronto) for years, and a representative of Apogee gave out shirts at a meeting.

vinceclipse 03-10-2005 12:29 AM

vinceclipse 03-10-2005 01:03 AM

:Brain: never mind i just got it Monster Bash is what it was called, you guys need to get that game on this site.

ReamusLQ 03-10-2005 01:34 AM

we've talked about it before. It's still ESA protected, and we don't host shareware games either. :not_ok: Sorry

Zarkumo 04-10-2005 02:09 PM

Does anyone know if this game runs under XP or Dosbox or at all on modern systems? I am actually thinking about purchasing the download under the link given above (as Monster Bash was a pretty cool game at the time). :)

Reup 04-10-2005 02:24 PM

According to the dosbox site: 0.58 - supported

So that should pose no problems.

Thanks. :ok: I didn't know you could check that on the Dosbox page, thanks for pointing that out to me. :w00t:

commanderkeen 07-10-2005 10:45 PM

Hey!,I have the shareware Version
I can upload that.
Its on one of my 4 Dos shareware cds.In total I have 200 games on them.
Monster bash runs on my win98 computer fine.No dosbox needed(may need it for XP though)
Its on the one titled
TITANIUM SEAL
SHAREWARE
CD-ROM
80
MEGA
HITS

It says its one of the top 1% of all computer games.

Tom Henrik 07-10-2005 11:23 PM

Unfortunately, we only want full versions, not shareware.

Thanks for the offer, though :ok:

I'm looking for an old zombie / horror game for children. It's not a scary game, but it has a dark theme. There was this kid with a slingshot and it was a side-scroller. There were skeletons, skulls, bats, zombies and so. I can't remember much but it had a feature that if you stood still long enough, the protagonist shot your screen with his slingshot and it left a big hole. :-)

Sorry for the imperfect information. I'll try to come up with something else also. You can ask questions if you want to. It could be helpful too.
