Eagle Eye Mysteries [WIP - dkw]
I would love to see the Eagle Eye Mysteries games again. I had them with my first computer. They came in my Soundblaster 16 kit along with many other games. I recieved my computer in 1994. The basic idea of the game was a simple point and click adventure similar to Carmen Sandiego where a brother and sister solved neighboorhood mysteries. It was a CD-Rom Game for DOS.

I remember I had the demo version of this once...in fact, I was thinking about this the other day, but never could think of the name...I second this notion, it would be a fun little diddy
|
Get it here :ok:

ok thanks
|
is there any where i can buy this game if i cant download it?
|
Your question is illogical. You said yourself that HOTU hosts this game (and yes, they did manage to get permissions for hosting a lot of titles that we either had and lost in a stupid accident several months ago or never had in the first place).
|
but the hotu download is very wired it has the zip file divided into diferent ones and you have to download another install file and i cant get it to work so i am asking is there another way to get this game even if it envolves buying it because i cant find it anywhere except hotu.

yeah they dont have it is there any chance abandonia will have because eagle eye mysteries isnt sold anywhere
|
No, because it's ESA-protected. This is going around in circles.

That's not so complex to figure out, I have often dealt with games that are way more complicated to set up. Typical newbies. If something is more complex then "click the exe", they can't figure it out even if given an instruction. |
thats now true i really and truely did all they asked and said did it in dosbox every thing sta on it for more than an hour and couldn't get it to work but i will give it another shot
|
In the first place, are you sure that the game is compatibile with DosBox?
Second, at which point did you encounter problems? Did you mount your FDD correctly? |
Eagle Eye Mysteries
I looked at the oldwarts list and i saw that the game eagle eye mysteries was protected but i searched the web and find nowhere to buy it can anyone give me a link to where i could buy this game?
|
there's a difference between protected and sold. ;)
|
so your trying to say that you can't download it and you can't buy it?
so how can i get the game? |
Ye can't get it then. Yeah, *meep*ed up, but thats the World of Copyrights. <_<
Thats why you should vote for Link removed...don't post this muck anymore....David86 |
Eagle Eye Mysteries
Please help I'm looking for a pc game in which i can not remember the title. Im not sure how old or new it is
From what i am pretty sure, it is about solving various mysteries around a town by looking for clues and when all the clues have been found, choosing who you think is the criminal. there was a scrap book of finished mysteries. The game had voices From what i remember, which may be wrong, in the begining you choose whether to play as a guy or a girl, who could have been teenagers. the first mission or atleast one of them, was about some guy possibly named mark, leaving peices of paper that said "clue" on objects, which were related to his name (which as i mentioned may or may not have been mark) and telling you to find out who he is. There might also another mystery about a ghost in a theatre or museum. The objects which were clues or could be clicked on had a square around them. Locations in the game i can remember are a bank, an arcade, and an icecream parlour Thanks in advanced |
shouldn't this go in game requests?

Eagle Eye Mysteries
I'm thinking of games released by EA, or more precise EA part for kids.
I want to review Scooter's Magic Castle and Peter Pan. Both games are from 1993 so it should be ok. I also can't find archive of Eagle Eye Mysteries also from 1993... I think this games are ok for upload since it's been over 15 years. Still, abw list shows "protected" status, but this is probably old info... |

1993 + 15 = 2008 so its become unprotected in year 2009. I think Bobbin has uploaded Eagle Eye Mysteries on FTP. The first 2 Games is marked Approved in Thread "Candidate in Year 2009" and i also give [APPROVED] for Eagle Eye Mysteries |

nah, I've actually uploaded Eagle Eye Mysteries 2, which was released in 1994. We'll have to wait another year to add this to the site. Still looking for the first part though. |
