Matt Chat Video Update Thread
 

Hi, everyone. This thread is to keep folks posted on my "Matt Chat" videos.

Here is the latest one, this time on Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. It's one of my favorite CRPGs and obviously inspired a great many other CRPG developers all over the world.

The original game doesn't appear to be hosted here at Abandonia, but the excellent 7th game is available.

Fallout (Matt Chat 30)
 

Hi, fellas! :rocks:

Here is the 30th episode of my show, featuring Fallout.



BTW, there is a DOS version of this, though it's a bit tricky to get working properly in Dosbox (at least, it was for me). The newly released trilogy has some issues too--the screen kept blacking out on me (though I could hit "preferences") to bring it back. Weird stuff...I ended up having to use my TV capture card to get footage of the cut scenes. Bizarro stuff.

So this thread kinda died then..?
Shame - they were okay.
Except I kept thinking if he was touching himself with the hand he always keeps off camera. He's got that expression on his face at times...

What I don't get is why Matt Chat decided to sign up as blacklily8. :mhh:
I wonder if that's his password and user account name/email for his Youtube account..?

I think if you haven't got an amazing beard like mine... Preferably, you should have some kind of animated screen presence, like in Phonejacker or Monkey Dust.
Its pretty cool how he presents it like he's telling you about something really good that happened today and it's pretty awesome dude.

He must mean FO1 & 2 and Tactics / BoS or something...

Tactics / BoS IS NOT FO3. It's barely Fallout.

I'm gonna go check out their youtube site.

Heehee. :) Yeah, I haven't posted in awhile, sorry. Making these videos and playing Dragon Age Origins is taking up all my time!

Matt, I was wondering if you could do a video review on Torchlight. Just curious, I am not affiliated in any way with the game maker.

Torchlight is a game from current year - I do not think it's what he is reviewing :)

Ah... I see. I did not know that. Well, in that case perhaps Matt can make a review on Fate? The original, I mean, 'cause the latest one, Fate - The Traitor Soul (FTS), is downright disappointing-sequel-of-boring-repetitiveness-and-nothing-new (and so I thought Torchlight sort of redeems FTS' failure a bit).

EDIT: To clarify, I think the original Fate is good, and I had memorable experience playing it the first time. Fate - Undiscovered Realms (FUR) was alright, and it improved the experience a bit, but in the end I find it a bit too repetitive. I am disappointed with FTS though.

Thanks for the suggestions! I looked at both games and they do seem interesting.
