I know it seems weird, but I went through all the games on Abandonia so I'd see in which game categories Slovene translations are getting close to the English reviews and did a quck count off all the games:

Another day - another update, but this time the same number of all games! Why? Because one game got deleted!!! Why? I haven't a clue!!!

Hodj and Podj isnt being sold. It's available on HOTU and they're really careful with the games they list as Abandonware. They have to be as they're the best known abandonware site and are watched carefully. I believe they've had a few lawsuits through having old games that were copywritten to EIDSA members. Kosta deleted it because it was unplayable on XP. Even Data couldn't get it working. I downloaded the HOTU version of H n P (and paid for it as I had to get an internet cafe to do it as I have a slow modem), just in case we could upload that one, but it was equally unplayable on XP. Return To Zork is the same size and an adventure game like Hodj n Podj and meant to be a kind of a replacement. I did everything I could to get a working game, but the best I could do was upload another one like it.

Hmm since this is the statistics topic, I have to say this forum is getting more and more popular, today there were 92(!!) visitors at the same time, while a month the record was around 50-60.

Two updates today. Just seven more and we hit the 400 mark!

Well, the version we had was 20 meg larger than HOTUs, so I assumed it was different. I did get stung a fair bit because it took them three hours to do. But I don't mind as the business is a good one but they're having financial problems at the moment, and I've now got a copy of a great game.

@Black Angel: Look - if a game can not be bought it's slightly different, but might still be illegal. The thing is, that the law is the law - if you think it's a bad law and brake it,... That's up to you, but you must still know your braking it. Piracy didn't start with this discusion TRUE, but it's still a bad thing. And people who are supporting it are hurting the industry.

@Wormpaul: Being a bad person - I know only what I read from you on the forum. That proves nothing except that you're a person who's mostly quite fun to talk to. If you're not feeling guilty - good for you (I also have no problem what so ever with the fact that I have some stuff I haven't payed for).

@Omuletzu: I'm not saying you should spend so much money on games - they are way to expensive - I know. But that only means the situation must change (I know it's easy to say it - especially from far away) but it's the truth. Having a black market might help the people but it doesn't help the society. It's just the governmants that can't improve things so people would feel satisfied - they let the black market sell things so people would complain less. I'm not accusing or blaming you, but I'm just saying - if it's to expensive don't buy it (but if you're getting it the illegal way you should know you're braking the law and live with that fact).

If you'd look at the first post in this thread (I edit it daily) you'd see how many we have.
that's why I opened this thread in the first place - to keep everybody up to date with the game progress. Maybe this should be pinned and everybody could see the first post and have the overview over the games we have in diffrent categries..

Well this time the update of this thread wes different. I had to update it, because the latest game on our site was too big, so it was taken off.
This won't stop us however. We're slowly but surely reaching the 500 reviews (but we still need a bit over 60 of them, to get there).
