Tracker's stuff
I've finished the review for Worlds of Legend 1: Son of the Empire, so it may go under a grammar check. I've also made some screenshots of the game. I just need to know where & how to upload it, what to do with it.
|
sent PM with FTP-Info. ^_^
|
Reviews for Loom and Keef the thief are ready to be checked. I've made some screenshots for Keef the thief, with a pic for newsposts.

I've uploaded Enchanter, along with the review, a map, and a walkthrough.
- Tracker P.S.: I'll upload Sorcerer and Spellbreaker later too. |
Are you talking about this Sorcerer?

I've been playing with fantasy games for a while, so I want to know to skip some game if someone else will review it :)
|
Well, to be honest I'd like to review the entire trilogy (I already uploaded the first review), but if I won't be able to do it I'll let you know, ok?
|
This is about Enchanter
hmm why only one Screenshot? the Hintbook is taken from RD so we cannot use it. You didnt wrote the Walkthrough either right? Did you got the Permission from the Author? and lastly What sort of boxshot is it? Front Cover or what? its also double in extras.zip... |

Tracker, just take one screenshot of the start screen, and maybe a death screen somewhere random.

I wish we had much more users with "bad days". "Almost nothing useful, just a complete review". By all means keep having days like this, please ^_^ As for Sorcerer, I wasn't even aware that it is part of trilogy. Obviously you are more into these games and therefore capable of providing more adequate info of them. Keep up the good work, mate. |
Well, just before this year ends, I submitted another review - this time about Wizardry 1 - Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. There are also screenshots, so I hope it'll be allright.

ignore this post....

Deal or No Deal?
Back to business again - this time I found a review I wrote for Loom a few months ago. I made it to replace the short one currently in use, but maybe I forgot to submit it or something. All in all, should I upload it to the FTP? Loom is one of the few games which you can't talk about in less than five hundred words. I'd also be willing to write about other games with too short reviews (I know I also have the Wizardry series and some Infocom things in progress, but hey, we're time millionaires!:3:) so they could be replaced with proper ones. Let me know if there's any kind of decision about this.
- Tracker P.S.: I'm also working on Ultima 1-5 because no-one seemed to bother playing them... so you'll have a lovely bunch of reviews from me, not anytime soon, but this year. |

Just a little nonsense...
I got a nice 468x600 pixels boxshot of the game Death Gate, free from any kind of watermarks and such. Oh, and it's the actual scan of the box it was supplied in, neither the CD shot, nor the one which has tons of ads and pointless hypes on it (like "M_____in Game of Da Year 1994" etc.).
Interested?:sneaky: EDIT: I managed to upload the picture on the ftp. |
A new review
I finished the Wizardry 2 review, everything is prepared for uploading to the FTP - I have screenshots and game archives as well. The picture I chose for a thumb needs to be resized I think. I couldn't do it.
- Tracker P.S.: The reviews for Wiz 3 & 4 are in progress too. |
Well, upload stuff to FTP, please. You do have access, right?

No, I looked at his folder on FTP...

I noticed too that the Wiz 2 folder has gone, but I knew it was due to being accepted. I uploaded the Wizardry 3 stuff a minute ago. The Wiz 4 review will be only done next weekend, I think 2 reviews are enough for now. :3:

Realm of Obscurity
I just accidentally came across some kind of weird game compilation CD I obtained aeons ago. It has tons of old (Pre WinXP era) games, but as I'm currently on Linux and too lazy to reinstall XP I'm asking you to help me gather some info on these things, and determine whether they're abandoned or not.
I'm posting here some screenshots I found on the CD, and maybe their names if I can retrieve them from the archives somehow. They might be quite known, or totally unknown, that's why I need some help. P.S.: Most of them are either DOS, Win 3.1 or Win 95 games, and shareware. First of all, I'm posting a list of the games, then I'll post the screenshots if necessary. |

Some of these titles appear to be abbreviations from the actual titles. Could you please check what the actual titles (as given in the games) are? |
1. It's Inner Worlds. In plural.
2. Totally unrelated top-down tiled action RPG. 3. It's actually called Backstage, and is a german game. 4. It's the shareware version of Plague of the Moon. 5. Teenagent is the one you have on-site. I'm updating the list with information like what OS they were written for (DOS, Win3.1 or Win95) who were they written by and when. I'll also write what language are they (English/German). And I'll also correct their names. EDIT: Some info were updated. Note that they're information I got mostly from their README files. I'll try to run them with DosBOX in order to learn more about them. I'll also upload screenshots if mandatory. |

I uploaded some screenshots to games which haven't been discussed.
|
Death Gate OST uploaded to the FTP server.
|
Found Shannara OST. Need it?
|
Sure :)
|
I also have the soundtracks for other Legend Entertainment games, like Companions of Xanth, Eric the Unready, the Spellcaster series, Frederik Pohl's Gateway and Superhero League of Hoboken. If I remember correctly they aren't featured in Abandonia Frequency. I'll upload them to the FTP today.
|
I uploaded them.
|
Ok thank you :)
|
Np.
|
I acquired a large number of Interactive Fiction titles most of which can not be found on site. I believe they could be approved since we have other Infocom titles available.
Code:
A Mind Forever Voyaging (1985) |
Most of the Zorks are available on GOG. Some of them are already on FTP like Bureaucracy, but there are a couple of which I haven't heard of, for example Starcross. :mhh:
|
We shall make a deep research then. Unless I forget about this list for a week once again...
|
just uploads all of it without those which we already have. We can always delete it from FTP if we cant use it.
