And her Amazon page has now been blasted with 1 star reviews. While some are simply "we saw what you did on the other review so suck my one star" a lot are fair and seemingly accurate reviews of people who own the book.

This proves that not all publicity is good for you book.

One wonders what she would say to those.

Second time I've seen this today, also. And I was speechless when a woman who gave her such a long list of good advice was told to 'f*** off!' and it turns out she was editor of a major new york publishing house... Oops. Although I kinda feel bad for her. The whole of the Net is making fun of her now. She'll have to change her name or take refuge in some sort of convent for nine years until no one remembers her. As far as I can tell, she's an abysmal writer. But then, so am I.

I feel a bit sorry for her, but I think she probably deserves this. That was a very, very petty response to criticism.

IMHO the author's behaviour is more similar to a mad little girl in her pre-teen years than of a responsible adult and published author.

Also, I dunno who published her book, but if it went through the editing process with such a meager result then that must have been a Cheapo-Cheapo-Kwike Publishing Ltd. product :)

That author reminds me of someone I once knew (not only in manners but in looks too) :hysterical:

The only 5-stars apart from the obvious jokes are ones that look like the author wrote them herself. :p

There's the one by "Danielle J. Howett". Not even trying to hide it, are they? XD

I think the niceness of the original blog review is what makes her outburst seem so out of proportion. Most people would kill to have all of their criticism be that constructive.

Oh my. Typical case of a person trapped in a swamp: the more desperately she tries to get out of this, the more she's sinking. At least I learned a lot from this - for example, don't f..kin' attack someone who clearly points out that you're wrong.

May the powers that be help us if they bred more than one of them...

I can only hope by 'family members' you are referencing parents and other genealogy up the family tree and not siblings and/or children down the family tree.
