Abandonian-Exclusive Private Match in Team Fortress 2

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13771683/Aba...2Community.png

On Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 4PM GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) the Abandonian-Exclusive Team Fortress 2 Private Community Match is back! And this time, it's open to the community! Prepare for an epic, 24-player battle with your fellow Abandonians as you fight for honor, glory, and a good time in the world's only hat-obsessed FPS, Team Fortress 2!

Naturally, there are a few rules:
rules

Also, you'll need to use the password abandon1337 to connect to the server the event will use, and you'll need to add the server address 212.117.167.50:27500 to your list of favorite servers. If you don't know how to do this, please read the instructions below:
how to add the server to your favorites list

Jironobou 09-08-2011 06:33 PM

Alright, I'm interested, also, UTC -7 hours

TheChosen 09-08-2011 06:52 PM

Definitely in. With my medic skills and experience, I'l lead our team to victory!

Im at +2 timezone. As for maps, Id prefer 2fort or Turbine. Alternatively, any capture point/control point map will do expect one's with snow (the newer maps make me lag).

Panthro 09-08-2011 09:20 PM

I have zero TF2 experience, but used to play CS and Firearms. I'm sure I could get back into it.

I'm in the UK, so GMT/UTC, but at the moment BST/UTC+1.

HailToNietzsche 10-08-2011 12:33 AM

Time Zone is UTC/GMT +2 hours. No TF-specific experience. Maybe good enough for subs' bench... :dunno:

shinyjam 10-08-2011 03:55 PM

GMT -5, I prefer big map. :OK:

Phreeze_lu 10-08-2011 07:03 PM

can someone explain at what exact GMT the game is (or was?!?) ?

current time here is:

Code:

The current time is 09:02 PM (GMT +2)
and it's what my clock says ;) i'd love to play some games (TF2 user is Phreeze)

GTX2GvO 10-08-2011 07:57 PM

Just put me straight on the reserve list. :p
Cause it highly depends on which day the match will be when I'm online AND playing. ^_^

btw My timezone is: UTC/GMT +2 hours :)

Frankly. During the current summer vacation my playtime is in the evening.
Between 10 PM and up to around midnight or 1~2 AM. (depends on how much fun the game is)

And when school kicks in again my game hours are all over the place.
So thats evening (see above) Plus during the day, when I'm @ school without having any classes. Between 10 AM till 3 PM. :)

But school starts only on the 22nd of august. :)

Oh one more thing...
Why not an Abandonian Exclusive 24/7 password protected Server. :)
That way any abandonian can play when they have time and I know TF2 can have password protected servers. :D

Although it IS the question if you could run one for a near 24/7 timeframe. *^_^

I'd love to, but I don't exactly have the kind of computer and bandwidth to handle such a timeframe.

Dragondraikk 11-08-2011 09:41 AM

This sounds like it might be fun.

UTC+2 here, I'm usually on between 4pm and 6am though, so I'm rather flexible there at least for the next 2 months.

I find myself fairly decent with any class except Demoman, but if I'm given a choice, I tend to go spy, so you lot best watch your backs :hihihi:

TheChosen 11-08-2011 12:43 PM

Hope you're not a Dead Ringer user, because I've killed a lot of them. For real. Because they all sucked at using it.

Lulu_Jane 11-08-2011 02:56 PM

I'm in! UTC/GMT +2

Let's do this! :D

Aye, I agree, I see a lot of spies who are just terrible at what they're doing, but rest assured, I'm quite a bit more effective, and I'm one of the spies that'll actually work on helping the team rather than just getting a scant few backstabs.

Lulu_Jane 11-08-2011 05:55 PM

So who's playing pyro? I need to know who I'm going to hate irrationally.

Depending on the situation I might do that as well, puff and axe is going to become your worst nightmare :D

Sweeeeet, bring it on! :D

ui know what it is, but the threadcreater didn't state correctly at what time it is :)
if the guys from america start at 1 AM, we can join, as it's 7AM (19h00) here in Europe ;)

ATTENTION: If you've signed up for the Abandonian-Exclusive Team Fortress 2 Private Match, please vote in the poll above. This will expedite Phase Two when it comes.

Greetings, fellow Abandonians! Are you sick and tired of playing yet another round of COD? Are you fed up with FPS games which take themselves all too seriously? Or do you just want to try something different? Then I invite you to sign up for a 24-player, Abandonia-exclusive Team Fortress 2 private match!

I'm going to do this in two phases as follows:
  1. Determine when the private match is to take place, and, in the event the agreed time prevents me from hosting the private server, who will be hosting.
  2. Decide which map types and maps will be played (first part of this will be run alongside Phase One)
Naturally, there are a few sever 'ground rules' which I shall post in advance and when the time finally comes (expect the list to expand):
Rules

Now then, since we're on the first phase, I first need to know who intends to come, in what time zone you live in relative to the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), and if you observe Daylight Savings Time (DST)/summer time. For example, I live in UTC -5:00, and my region of the world observes Daylight Savings Time (which means my time zone is presently UTC -4:00). If you don't know which time zone you live in, I recommend you look at this website. Also, once we hit 24 attendees, the remainder of those attending will be placed on the reserve list, meaning you will take the place of any attendee who can't make it.

For those unfamiliar on how to play Team Fortress 2, you can either play the in-game tutorials, or you can read up on the game in either PC Gamer's excellent, multi-part guide, or on the official TF2 wiki.

list of attendees

I want to play! Never played before, but im Master of old Wolf ET. I live in Spain so i think it is hour +1. regards and good luck! Keep me in touch!

verek_22 11-08-2011 11:59 PM

Team Fortress 2? Count me in, please!

UTC/GMT +1.

-.-

I suppose it didn't occur to you that the reason everyone is giving their times related to the GMT is so we can decide a suitable time for everyone to get on, right?

DarthHelmet86 12-08-2011 11:25 AM

This is something that I would love to join in on but I can't be sure I will be able to.

I am at GMT +8 and would love to get into it just keep me updated when it will be and I will confirm if I can't or can then.

Expack2 14-08-2011 02:10 PM

PLEASE NOTE: Thanks to Phreeze_lu, we no longer need for a server host.

I've come to the unfortunate decision that I will be unable to host the server for the Abandonian-Exclusive TF2 Private Match. If someone is interested in hosting the server, please PM me so I can provide you with the files and instructions you need to do so. Note that while it's possible to run a TF2 server on Linux (in this case, ignore the OS requirements), I have very little experience with Linux, so you'd be pretty much on your own.

Here are the approximate system requirements necessary to host a 24-person server:
  • Windows XP (32-bit only), Windows Vista, or Windows 7
  • A 1.1Ghz Intel processor or equivalent
  • 512MB of memory
  • 960 Kilobits/second (kb/s) upload speed
  • At least 6GB of free hard drive space
If you want to play Team Fortress 2 on the same computer you're using as the dedicated server, these are the approximate system requirements:
  • Windows XP (32-bit only), Windows Vista, or Windows 7
  • 3.5GHz Intel processor or equivalent
  • 1GB of memory
  • DSL/Broadband (1 Gigabit/second download, 1.2 Megabits/second upload)
  • At least 6GB of free hard drive space (not including free space required to install Team Fortress 2)
If you're not sure about your computer's system specs, and you're not using Windows Vista or Windows 7, I recommend you use CPUID. Also, note that 1 byte equals 8 bits; therefore, a 960 kilobits/second upload speed is the same as a 120 kilobyte/second (kB/s) upload speed.

Lulu_Jane 14-08-2011 04:23 PM

This makes me make a sad face.

Hopefully we can find a lovely out there who can help make this happen :)

Panthro 14-08-2011 07:01 PM

I'm also sad, I hope someone else can help out.

I'd like to, but I don't have a good enough internet connection to host, let alone host and play.

I've been trying to get back some of my multiplayer skills by playing a bit of TF2, FA:S and CS:S, but ten years worth of rust is hard to shake off!

We could always find a public server that's quiet and have a few friendly attempts before a private server can be found.

Perhaps start an Abandonia clan? (if there isn't one already that I don't know about)

That could work! I think I'll use that as a last resort (which should be by the end of this week).

everything except the upload speed is over the top... I've apparently got about a 700-800 Kb/s upload speed

Also, there is an Abandonia Steam Page...

DarthHelmet86 16-08-2011 10:04 AM

Servers take a lot more power then just running the game and even more if you plan on playing the game over the top of them.

Most Source games are an exception to this rule, as evidenced by this rather excellent guide to hosting a server for a Source-based game.

TheChosen 16-08-2011 03:51 PM

Please, no public servers. I was looking forward to a private match, not just a another rounds casual game.

Phreeze_lu 16-08-2011 04:00 PM

i'm installing tf2 on my Linux server (100mbit up'n'down). I've to try the stability, cause i haven't got too much ram. it's a dualcore 2ghz. perhaps have to stop the torrent and gnome desktop ;)

I can help you test out the stability if you'd like. Just let me know via PM when you have the TF2 server up and running. If things go well, and you're willing, you might become the server host for the Abandonian-Exclusive Team Fortress 2 Match :OK: !

EDIT: You may find this step-by-step guide to running a Linux-based TF2 server enlightening: http://www.stearns.org/doc/tf2-linux-howto.html

feel free to play on it, 24 players, startin with cp_dustbowl

i just set it up to test if my server can handle the game plus some other services. i had pings around 9ms to 20ms, but was alone on it ;)

i'll make it private if the server runs stable.

please report any issue here, post if the server runs fine, without lags etc. !

n00b

You don't get much more n00b than someone who has never played an online FPS-type game before...but if some cannon fodder could be of use, I'd like to give this a shot.

I've gone through the Basic Training that they give for Soldier, Spy, and Engineer (are there others?), and will look at the wiki pages referenced above. I've also played some "Offline Training" matches against the computer, but I haven't asked for coaching.

I'm a bit confused on the time thing. I think I'd be UTC/GMT-5 (Eastern) but I read the deadline as "Saturday" and "August 16"--and those two things descriptions seem to match. Am I missing something?

Don't worry, you're not missing anything ;) . For you, the sign-up period will end at midnight on Saturday, August 20, 2011.

HailToNietzsche 16-08-2011 11:24 PM

I'm sorry to inform you that I can't take part in Abandonian-Exclusive Team Fortress 2 Private Match. :( Bizarrely, my attempt to create a Steam account failed: "Steam - Working" for over an hour... :what:

Isn't Saturday August 20 (i.e., August 16 is Tuesday)?

Phreeze_lu 17-08-2011 01:20 PM

the server crashed again, probably due to a memory problem. the server has now been upgraded from 2gb to 4gb ram which must solve my problems. If not I'm switching the provider, getting on my nerves...

Lulu_Jane 17-08-2011 01:26 PM

I've got my fingers crossed for you :)

just try again, might be that the server had a problem. For a (now) free game, it's really fun and worth it :)

Maps:
CTF

-We have to decide which maps to play, here are the standard maps:
http://tf2wiki.net/w/images/thumb/6/..._2fort_map.jpg 2Fort ctf_2fort Farmland
http://tf2wiki.net/w/images/9/93/Dc01.jpg Double Cross ctf_doublecross Alpine / Industrial

http://tf2wiki.net/w/images/8/8d/Ctf_turbine_v30024.jpg Turbine ctf_turbine Industrial
http://tf2wiki.net/w/images/b/b4/Well_ctf.jpg Well ctf_well Industrial

i suggest 2-Fort and Turbine, as it's a map where new players can find the ways to the flag ("Intelligence") too. Well and Double Cross are not so cool imo.

For Control Point maps ( each team has 2 control points and there's 1 neutral point, capture them all!) i suggest: Yukon, Freight, Badlands

http://tf2wiki.net/w/images/thumb/d/...-CP_5Gorge.jpg 5Gorge cp_5Gorge Alpine

Lulu_Jane 18-08-2011 10:10 AM

I like your map choices. Although I'm confused now as to why I've never played the coldfront snow map.

DarthHelmet86 18-08-2011 10:41 AM

I agree with Lulu, I too wonder why she has never played that stage. :p

I have never played the game before online so I am fine with whatever. Is this new server only going to be hosted at the times we set up for a game? Or at any time that we might decide to have a bash at it without you being around?

Lulu_Jane 18-08-2011 11:05 AM

It was up when I was playing last night, so I think it might be running all the while for now.

Phreeze_lu 18-08-2011 11:26 AM

oh it's still up :) i leave it up and public as long as we don't need it for private games. I might add some stats mod, but don't know where to find it Oo

(like those rank thingies: Phreeze Rank 123 / 5495 etc.)

mapcycle so far:
ctf_turbine
cp_yukon
cp_badlands
cp_freight
cp_egypt_final

the last CP map: "egypt_final" is a 1point control map. i think it's a very funny map, good size for fewer players

Jironobou 19-08-2011 06:04 AM

What about TC_Hydro?

riccso 19-08-2011 09:30 AM

I'm in :)

GMT+2(CEST)

ed: Why isn't Attack/Defend listed? Makes me a sad panda.

Phreeze_lu 19-08-2011 12:43 PM

hm stil have to figure out how to update the server correctly now..steam is updated, must check for the rest.

server crashed again last night..dang..don't know what it is now -.-

edit2: server is autoupdating on every restart :)
I won't be there on saturday as i'm going to the gamescon in cologne for the whole weekend, if there are serious problems, quickly post me a message, i have an internet connection on the evenings (German time ;) )

Expack is the mod, he has the rcon password if you wanna play other maps than those in the cycle. Have fun, stay polite, and i hope the server doesn't crash again ...

Actually, according to the official TF2 Wiki, Attack/Defend is a Control Point map type. However, we probably won't get to play one during the match because most people voted for the CTF game mode. :(

Expack2 19-08-2011 03:50 PM

OK, folks, I've decided to end the poll early so I can inform Phreeze_lu on which maps to use for the map cycle. Based on the results, we will be playing four CTF maps and one Payload maps. Given as I haven't played a lot of smaller matches, and because I trust Phreeze_lu's judgement, I will let Phreeze_lu select the maps to be played. Also, I would like to thank everyone who voted - I really appreciate your input.

Expack2 19-08-2011 04:18 PM

After tallying all the GMT/UTC time-zones, I have decided the best time would probably be August 22, 2011, at 4PM GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Would this be acceptable to everyone?

riccso 19-08-2011 06:25 PM

:OK:

Panthro 19-08-2011 08:04 PM

That would be 5pm BST (British Summer time) and I don't get back from work until 5.30-6pm. :(

But so long as you're planning on it lasting more than an hour, I can join in a bit later than everyone else.

I've been getting quite a lot of practice as a Heavy, so I hope there's some medics out there to back me up!

Tulac 19-08-2011 08:19 PM

Definitely sign me up, I'm not a pro or anything but I have played a few public games and the time of playing is good for me.

I like the map choice, I think 2fort is best to be avoided cause it's confusing (especially for the new players) and usually ends up in stalemates.

Phreeze_lu 19-08-2011 10:33 PM

i changed the serverpassword, expack will tell you the NEW password per PM !!!

mapcycle is:
ctf_2fort
cp_freight_final1
ctf_turbine
ctf_sawmill
cp_steel
ctf_doublecross
cp_yukon_final
cp_badlands
pl_goldrush
cp_egypt_final

:) i'm off now, just checked the pms. tomorrow is a long day and had some cocktails, need a nap now ;) have fun !!

Crap. I'm going to Merry Old England on the 21st, and I won't be back until late on the 23rd. Oh well, I guess it's my fault for not investing in a laptop capable of playing TF2! :whops:

Panthro 21-08-2011 07:09 PM

Will try and be there, but will be about 30mins late.

Looking forward to this! If it's a success, we should do this more often.

Phreeze_lu 21-08-2011 10:32 PM

80% chacne i will attend :) i thought the match was on sunday...faily me :headslap:

GTX2GvO 22-08-2011 06:40 AM

Damn. I'm gonna be a bit busy with checking the AB staff roster today and by the time the match will start I have to Go home anyway. :/

TheChosen 22-08-2011 01:10 PM

Then dont check it now, obviously. Do it later.

Actually, it's possible to run the game below the game's system requirements - but it's going to look real ugly and could cause issues with the game! Here's how you do it:
  1. Right-click on Team Fortress 2 in Steam.
  2. Click on "Properties" from the menu which appears.
  3. Click on "Set Launch Options..." from the window which appears.
  4. Enter the following (including spaces): -dxlevel 70 -mat_showlowresimage 1
  5. Click the OK button.
A note about Step 4: You can replace -dxlevel 70 with -dxlevel 80 if you want minimal Pixel Shader support, since, to my knowledge, DirectX 8 introduced Pixel Shader 1 and 1.1.

Panthro 22-08-2011 06:36 PM

It was good!

While it lasted. We should definitely do it again, but with less SPIES :P

Its been a while since I've had a good game as a spy. Still wish I would learn to aim properly so I could score those critical head-shots with the ambassador.

The downside was that some people didnt show up, and then someone would leave or go spectate for a while making the teams unbalanced. Great level of skill all-around. Even from Darth, who was a total newbie and lagging. You better try out that new bow you got!

Shall we try this again someday? However, this time announce the password on our AB group so that anyone belonging to that group could join (so we can keep it as AB exclusive).

Also, turn on the item-drop announcements and voice communication.

Phreeze_lu 22-08-2011 11:44 PM

i didn't feel like an "admin" so i didn't announce the pw in the FB group or anywhere else ;) as expack said, he wanted to tell the PW by personal message :-/

there arent thaaaat many tf2 players, we even could leave it "public" so that 24 slots are guaranteed

DarthHelmet86 23-08-2011 04:41 AM

I had a great time, the game was a lot more fun then I thought it would be. It is a pity about my slow internet connection but it is a fast one for Aus, so hey what am I going to do about it. The lag wasn't to bad on my end, only a few jerks here and there and I seemed to be able to hit people most of the time.

Lulu_Jane 23-08-2011 12:17 PM

I am totally up for doing this again. I'm happy to help put the password out on whichever parts of the network however you guys decide.

I'm looking forward to more face shooting! :D

Well, we could 'try it again' this Saturday (08/27/2011) at 4PM GMT, using the same password as last time - with the exception being it (the password) would be broadcast across the entire AB Network. Might that work?

Lulu_Jane 23-08-2011 03:02 PM

sure, that's fine by me :)

TheChosen 23-08-2011 03:05 PM

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention: Phreeze, do something to the map switching. There were times when suddenly game got halted and switched to next map without any real reason other than we chosed it. It didnt let us finish the round sometimes.

Phreeze_lu 23-08-2011 08:16 PM

i dont know what it is. i switched the maptime already, from 20 to 40 (just before i had to leave)

Panthro 23-08-2011 08:55 PM

Saturday would be great! I could probably be there the whole time.

shinyjam 24-08-2011 01:20 PM

Saturday will be great, more people should be free to play on weekend.

I think it only happen on certain control point or steal flag map, maybe you have to set time for each map or something? Sometime we are switching after one single round or 3 points win.

TheChosen 24-08-2011 03:41 PM

Since next Saturday seems to be good, I'l be making it official on our Steam page. Same server (If Phreeze is still willing to host) and with same password, but I'll mention the password on the announcement. It will be open to all members of our steam group and AB community members.

What time would be appropriate? For now, I put on the same time we had on our last game.

EDIT: @Phreeze: Can you turn on the possibility to capture replays? That would be the best way to get footage.

Dude! You read my mind!

Jironobou 24-08-2011 05:47 PM

I can't do saturdays, so... Have fun guys.

Phreeze_lu 24-08-2011 10:06 PM

server is still up, but i can't be there on saturday (German football game Kaiserslautern vs FC Bayern Munich ;) ). password will remain the same.

i copied in fact basic server settings and ajusted some.

3 rounds win should be standard, i try to remove it.
server will remain public until saturday, to see if it remains stable

hiraghm 25-08-2011 03:35 PM

I downloaded Team Fortress 2 from Steam yesterday, and practiced a little bit. I tried logging into the server today, however, and it said the server was using an older version of the software.

So I guess I won't be able to join Saturday, either :(

Phreeze_lu 25-08-2011 04:17 PM

i'll update it. silly updates...every 2 days theres an update

ed1t: should be up2date. i also enabled replays, will see if it works, if not, no replays ;)

Altormato 25-08-2011 08:20 PM

Well this is my first post but I'm a long time lurker and user of this fine fine site and I am happy to say I'll be there to blast some ass!

Lulu_Jane 25-08-2011 08:26 PM

Awesome, see you there, and welcome to your first post! :D

TheChosen 27-08-2011 07:52 PM

Today's game was good. Lots of players and it was all fine and dandy, with exception of that one jerk who ended up constantly whining and calling his team-mates with nasty words. Expack perma-banned him from the server.

In any case, I think we're gonna have more of these get-togethers in future. Were going to have to stop putting stuff about those in the front page though, otherwise were gonna have to call this website "Team Abandonia Fortress".

Expack finally figured out whats with our games suddenly ending and switching the map, so thats gonna be fixed in the future.

As the server is always running, I recommend that If you're looking for a game, its a good place to go. Today when I went there 2-3 hours before the event, it slowly filled up with players.

I also wish we'd add more maps to the map rotation. I'd want ctf_well, cp_degrootkeep, koth_harvest, cp_gorge and pl_badwater added to the map rotation and maybe remove ctf_sawmill and cp_steel. Especially the latter since most of us felt it was very confusing.

Everyone is of course free to suggest maps added/removed from the rotation. I think its up to Phreeze since he's running the server.

Panthro 27-08-2011 11:06 PM

It was good, apart from that one guy.

I always check the server when I load up TF2, but it would be nice to have a regular time to try and get people there. Announcements through the Steam group would be fine though, if you don't want to spam the website!

I agree - the "open to the community" approach seemed to result in better numbers than the "sign up for exclusive access to nothing more than an informal get-together" approach (for obvious reasons ). In regards to the map selection, because the community match was a sort of re-launch of the private match, it also had the same map rotation.

I do apologize for not banning the rude dude (whose name I shall not mention) sooner than I did, but I didn't know the proper ban command, and when I learned what it is, it was inexplicably a pain to even get it working.

Although I'm flattered by your complement, it was [ABCD] The Black Amber (whoever he/she is) who figured out what was wrong with the server. I think what the issue was mp_winlimit and mp_windifference both needed to be turned off (e.g. set to 0).

Also, I think discussing the Abandonian TF2 server should, from here on out, be covered in a separate thread. In addition, unless this thread is going to be used for future TF2 community matches, I think this thread should remain open for a day or two so people can comment on the previous match before someone needs to tell Frank to push the button (e.g. a mod/admin needs to close this thread).

TheChosen 28-08-2011 02:36 AM

Agreed. Feel free to start that thread whenever you got time.

TotalAnarchy 28-08-2011 05:45 AM

The match was generally good; cleared some new achievements, had a duel with TC, killed some other people :p and also saw how the style of the game changes when there are fewer players. Until now I actually played on a Romanian server which is always full; I could just plunge into the sea of enemies as a pyro and kill or assist kill 4-5 of them. It was especially fun and effective in the push the cart maps. XD

With fewer players, choosing a class has increased importance. My favorite pyro wasn't always a good choice. :)

Lulu_Jane 28-08-2011 11:38 AM

My mind is still blown that you actually play TF2 TA :D

Anyways, it was good fun, although my connection kept dying every 20 minutes or so. I'm looking forward to the next match! Also, Expack, please pm me the banned user name, I want to check something.

shinyjam 29-08-2011 07:04 PM

Would be great if you can get some custom map too. I recommend Balloon Race v2 (or v3 if there's one), it's a combination of capture the point and racing with a flying boat.

The boat will bring you to the next capture spot but you have to stand near the wheel to speed up the boat (there's 5 speed), capturing the point only give your ship a temporary small speed boost and won't affect your win/lose, but sending the boat to the end is what determine the winning team.

Personally I think this map is very balanced especially when the other boat is too far away, the boat will skip the captured point and take shortcut to easily catch up to the other team.

The starting point also are filled with water so pyro can't abuse as much by jumping onto the enemy boat (you rapidly lose hp when you are on enemy boat).

PS: Also a great map to get the Escape the Heat achievement.

Phreeze_lu 29-08-2011 11:15 PM

new map rota:
ctf_2fort
cp_freight_final1
ctf_turbine
ctf_well

cp_degrootkeep
koth_harvest
cp_gorge

Thanks, just tested the map out. The new version make the stage night and lots more obstacles, I guess it try to make it harder for sniper? :D

TheChosen 09-09-2011 03:31 PM

This will be the last post in this thread, so will the next poster please post in the other TF2 thread and mod lock this one up.

Is the map rotation thing working correctly? Everytime I pop in the AB server or look at it, it shows that its playing the Balloon Race.

Phreeze_lu 11-09-2011 07:03 PM

map rota works fine, as does mapdownloading at fullspeed
