?Lords Royal, *Birthright, *Total Annihilation ?Metal Fatigue

Haven't been around for a while so I'm not sure if these have already been requested, but here is a list of games that I can provide and would review if they're abandonware titles.

1. Lords Royal Collection (Already noticed Lord of the Realm 1 is under "to review" list, 2 and Siege Pack) [ESA]

2. Birthright [SOLD]

3. Total Annihilation [SOLD]

4. Betrayal in Antara [ESA]

5. Metal Fatigue (Abandonware but not sure if you have a way to fit it well on site) [ESA]

Few others but can't remember...

goblins 08-02-2005 05:03 AM

Total annuhilation - thinks that is still sold on cdaccess.

Timpsi 08-02-2005 06:58 AM

Yep, Total Annihilation is for example at http://www.cdaccess.com/html/quick/totalannpr.htm

Birthright: http://www.cdaccess.com/html/quick/birthrtpr.htm

Antara: http://www.cdaccess.com/html/quick/005015.htm (only 3 copies left)

EDIT: Lords of the Realm 2, the Siege pack and Metal Fatigue are on HOTU, each sized at about 70mb. They're for Windows, if that matters anymore. Lords 1 is up there as well, but it's a tiny DOS title.

Any hope for this title being posted on the site in the future?

Kon-Tiki 15-02-2005 06:54 PM

Sierra, 1996. Year's fine, company lessens the chances of adding it.
Screenshots, for those who don't know the game.

Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance [APPROVED]

Not under ESA protection, and no buylinks found.

CDAccess is discounted.

Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance

I desperately want to see Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance on abandonia.com.

It was released in the US in October 1997 i believe, from Sierra or Synergistic something like that. Of course it was based on a Dungeons & Dragons campaign world.

I loved this game when i had it on my comp, i am hoping that it really is abandonware by now and that it will be up soon.

A lot of reviews were bad for it, but to me it was amazing what they managed to put together (soo much to the game) but the strategy part was the most fun as i remember.

This Game is approved already here. You should search for it next time first before creating a Thread.

uhh well, it doesnt occur to me to read through 5 year old messages asking for the warez to see if a couple people wrote the word APPROVED at the end of their message. and it wouldnt mean much to me if i did :D

but, if it is approved, thats great, what im asking is will it be put up soon? they approved it a year ago?

Ermuli 17-08-2010 01:36 PM

ISO Cellar.

right, unfortunately the files linked to in the cellar seem no more useful to me than the ones found in a torrent search. i tried the windows version and just get 'birthright did not initialize' as an error. i tried the dos version and get failure errors on everything. i tried both versions in dosbox as well as windows with similar results.

any idea how to get the ISO Cellar files to work? im in winxp but can do dosbox. mucho appreciation if anyone out there knows what to do.

sure, theharpers, lemme help you out. first you download a program called daemon tools lite, then you mount the cd img in the rars with the tools.
Bingo, instant Gorgon soup!

Do we have a review? No.
Is anyone reviewing it? No.
Did anyone apply to review it? No.
Until someone reviews this game, we can't put it up on the site.
There's plenty of people say suggesting games they'd like to see on Abandonia, but when it comes to reviewing these games (come on people... eight screenshots and a passable review isn't that hard), none of them bother. Wonder why's that?

Is this game abandonware?

I remember having a lot of fun with it when I was a kid.... till mind crushingly terrible bugs ended the fun.

Never mind I searched for Birthright and didnt see it

EDIT: Found it in the ISO cellar, just needed to get a little more clever in my searching

Pex 19-01-2012 09:45 AM

You can get it from The ISO Cellar. And yes, it had heaps of bugs. A pity, cause it had a lot of potential...

Birthright: The Gorgono's Alliance Review {Query}

Hello,

I was wondering about the status of a B:TGA review. I could not find any reference to it in the Updates Workflow forum section.

Is B:TGA lacking a review or commit to review?

Thanks,

Z
