If you are looking for cheap website hosting this is the place. Starting at $48/Year for 200mb space. There's no hidden extras. With so many features you would never know what to do with them all. This is the place to go for the average joe.

That's expensive....

Cheap web hosting is 'Free' web hosting.

Most of free web hosting companies have way to many ads and low bandwith, but some are still quite nice out there.

$48 LOL for 200mb? thats stupidly expensive. for $48 i would expec around 500mb space.

The Fifth Horseman 07-04-2005 11:05 AM

Yup. Stupidly expensive. Who needs 200 MB "for his average needs" anyhow?

Oh, and since you say "for average joe", it means I couldn't use it even if I wanted - I'm an un-average Michael. LOL

@Anu: Humm... gotta check this one. Currently my site is working at a 15 MB webspace with 1.5 mb/hour bandwidth limitation...

FreeFreddy 07-04-2005 12:32 PM

This one is pretty good:
Cybton.com
100 MB free space, unlimited traffic and more. The hook - the site is in German. ;)

Your website doesn't work in FireFox!!! There must be some bad design, or something!!

I use a webhotel called Boxhosting. They doesn't have an english website, only danish and swedish. Here you get 200 MB for 9 kr/month (about 1 euro/month). The great thing about this WebHotel, is that they can host ASP.NET applications. Non of the free webhotels hosts ASP.NET solutions.

You can see my website at www.icandotnet.dk. :ok:

Good, thanks for asking :max:
Well, in case of the site being translated I can really recommend it. ;)

Check "Or the mirror site" link below the banner. Some people's gateways do not accept underslashes in domain name, this has nothing to do with the browser.

That is not the problem I have encountered. The site does load, but there are no links. If I open it in IE, there are no problems.

Then something must be wrong with the JS operation. See, it's heavily based on JS all over, and the display of the menu is dependant on a few JS things too...

But if JS didn't work on your browser, the site should have displayed a warning message ?! I have personally ensured that each page of HTML code had everything working right, in frames, without them and with the most rudimentary text-based browsers... Back to the drawing board... :ranting: AAARGH!

Wait. Just struck me. Might be that it somehow takes that "parent != self", and if that's so... Frames Interface, on! :D

Is this somekind of promotion of your site? If it is, it's forbidden!

Anyways....I have an idea (didn't try it out yet)! You can registe a domain on www.dot.tk for free and put as your homepage your web hosting site (eg. www.web-hosting-for-free.com), so on that way you will shorten your domain name. Your domain wont be www.your-site.web-hosting-for-free.com. I hope you got what I mean.

N17R0 07-04-2005 09:25 PM

All I gotta say is www.phpwebhosting.com for affordable web hosting.

Rogue 08-04-2005 09:24 AM

High price.

10 bucks per month....

MasterT 08-04-2005 11:45 PM

Ya there's lots of cheap hosts out there.
all those hosts look pretty good except phpwebhostin.com

you only save like 40 cents/month if you go yearly instead of monthly and you only get 225mb .... one good thing though is Un-Metered Transfer.

and yea i got whut ur tryin to say hero. and ur right. i'm poor.

sorry for the spam guys i feel sleazy.
i just didn't know where else to promote my hosting. dont worry i found some places made for this crap...

Somehow this post turned into something helpful though.

Thanks for tellin me what's up

Omuletzu 09-04-2005 09:38 AM
