I have a little soft spot for the bad guys at times, isn't it great when a game has a villain that you really think is a great character??

I think my favorite is Purple in Day of the Tentacle, don't ask me why, I just adore that little meanie!

The thought occurs that I should have encouraged everyone here to nominate villains for the GameFAQs Best. Villain. Ever contest.

Then SHODAN, LeChuck and Purple Tentacle might have stood a chance, instead of a whole bunch of Final Fantasy baddies and some guy from the god-awful GTA San Andreas.

Out of those that made it in, only Wesker, Ocelot and Ghaleon are worthy.

Speaking of cool villians......I always liked the pitchblack ones, like

Kain from The Legacy of Kain series (Stuff for a Major Movie, that is!)

or

Caleb from "A-Certain-Ego-Shooter" (in case it's banned- dunno ( if this description is forbidden, too plz delete this MSG and don' yell at me :max: ))

Of course I meant Caleb from Blood. He's a meanie. Although he IS the hero of the game, he nevertheless is a villian. He's just stone-cold at times, and then again shaken by his fate.....

Almost every villain is my favourite villain. Although they (almost) always loose, the villians are just the coolest ;)

Yeah I heard about the gamefaqs villian contest, all I hope for this time is that Sephirpoth doesn't win again.

I would have picked LeChuck, hands down. In an industry whose plots are cliched and whose serious villains are more of a joke than anything else, well-parodied evil can be extremely funny. :D

Most lovable villains - any enemy in Sonic and Knuckles. You think that they are evil but no! They're just fluffy animals that have been turned crazy!

Also, for piteous love, Jon Irenicus. Does anyone else notice that his 'face' is actually a wax mask?

I think Domino was one of mine, he was charming, made you really want to beat him in the game, great voice also helped.

Actually, on thinking about it, Domino was a pretty good villian. Hmm... yeah!

Was there ever a patch for GF?

The main villain from jade Empire was okay as far as villains go (no bursts of insane laughter) but the worst villain I've seen in a long time is Darth Nihilus from Knights of the old Republic II.
