It's always nice to have some inspiration to get idea's from. So I decided to create a list where you people can add your inspirational sites to.
Web: http://www.styleboost.com -> Nice design blog http://www.creativepost.nl -> Another nice design blog. Less web orientated http://www.designerstoolbox.com/ -> Not really inspirational, but helps with templates http://lounge72.com/yourspace/introduction/ -> Design portal Illustration: http://www.conceptart.org -> Well known art forums http://www.ghull.com/ -> Concept artist from the Matrix ...droooolll Cartoon: http://www.cosh.net -> Cool cartoon graphic artist from Holland (off course ;) ) |
I may add couple of links as well....for every fantasy lover.
John Howe's Website One of my favourite fantasy artists, perhaps the best Ted Nasmith's Website Another great fantasy illustrator, shows amazing skills with architectural and car illustrations as well. Aumania.it Huge collection of the best fantasy artists around |
Can't link to it, I'm afraid. It's all in my head. At the moment, it's fighting intergalactic cupcakes by riding your cow (with one of those fishbowls turned upside-down on her head, of course) through space, you being a green alien with two antennas on its head (including little ball on top of them), zapping the enemies using a squid you squeeze out as a toothbrush. Can't find a link for such things :wall:

pretty inspiring though...

I'm a member of http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/elfwood.pike ...
It a really great site for aspiring writers and fantasy, sci fi and fan-art artists :) |
www.itchstudios.com/psg
"Prometheus" - One of my favorite concept artists. A lot of Amiga/C64-inspired work and original game designs. A lot of modernized illustrations reworked from sprites of old games. Very cool. |

Elfwood and DeviantArt.org are great links for inspirational art. These are two of the biggest art communities, but not the only ones. Elfwood is currently under construction, but some features are still available.
Here are a few of the other leaders Renderosity: Huge place for artist of all mediums. No matter what sort of art you create, or enjoy viewing, photography, oils, acrylics, cartoons, animation shorts, 3D graphics, it's all at 'Rosity. So, make yourself a member of Renderosity, it's worth the time. DAZ 3D: Click on the community tab and then click galleries(at left). The software from DAZ Productions is some of the cheapest in the graphics industry, unless it's free. Animotions: If you are into comicbooks, viewing comics art, or how to make your own, you should think about signing up at Animotions. Must sign up to see the goodies. Again, it's well worth it. |
