Download Resuming

I think that the abandonia servers should support resuming because people who have low speed connections and modems cannot be online all the time and therefore cannot download games like ignition

Well maybe just for the VIP people :D

Data 04-08-2004 08:17 AM

vip people already can.

mika 04-08-2004 10:07 AM

Only in the VIP section, I meant on the main site too...

Well, that's sort of difficult to achieve with all the leechers lurking around. However, there IS a way you can resume files, and that is by using Mozilla Firefox internal download manager! Try it....

Works with the one in my Opera also...

Danny252 10-08-2004 03:49 PM

and if we dont?

Im not going to go downloading Mozilla or Opera, unless noone wants me to ever be back, as I would become a very dead boy

Download resuming

I also suffered from this problem but I could overcome it using the download manager only for once.
But now when I download using FLASHGET it gives me a lot of trouble. It downloads .php file which is not playable.
Thanks
Vipin

Stroggy 23-08-2004 05:41 PM

I use opera if I want to pause and resume.
Ofcoarse with my superior downloadspeed that is usually a problem I need not bother myself with (insert pompous laugh)

TheVoid 23-08-2004 05:51 PM

I use Mozilla Firefox, quite a time by now, and never had downloading problems.....

You should get it, it's freeware and surely better than Interner Exploder :D

And besides, it's reccomended by KOSTA!

Need more reasons?

Durak 23-08-2004 06:35 PM

Opera is better if you want to register it.
