both underdog and oldgames.nu's version have bugs:
boat<->ship icon on the shipyard is missing, which means you cannot build ship.
the patch on the official site cant fix it...
so...does anyone have the real working version?

To be able to build ships and boats you need the following, make sure you have all of them in your building.

A shipwright
Hammers
Boards
Stones

It also NEEDS to be built on large portions of water. Make sure there is enough space around it, and that it is not a lake just to be sure.

i tried many many maps....but every time i build a shipyard, there is no a ship icon and i also cant build a harbour.
do you know which map can build ship and harbour???
i like uncharted waters...so ship is important to me...

I never encountered a problem building ships, but then again I never played multiplayer either.

I don't think it is possible to build ships in unlimited play, only campaigns.

If I remember well, in the single campaign mode you can't build ships until you reach a certain mission.

All you need to do is to build the shipyard where you can see a big anchor with the build mode on. Then you need a lot of wood. It might take next to forever if you don't have enough planks in reserve and you continue to build buildings. Buildings probably have priority.

Don't forget, you can build both big ships and small ships there if I remember well. Make sure you are building the right type of ship.

Edit: Oh, and this thread should be in Favorites, not Troubleshooting if anybody wants to know.

oic...thanks for the answer.
i found another big bug: left/right, top/bottom border of the map cannot build road to join. it will appear abnormal blocks and/or the road wont work properly.
