Hi :bye:
I'm new as of a couple of minutes ago. I'm from California (don't hate the states :D ) and I'm ReamusLQ's girlfriend, so I decided to join a forum that I may or may not keep up with.

Good to be here, you guys are quite funny.

BeefontheBone 17-08-2005 08:00 AM

If we're quite funny, then you are quite welcome. :P

Tulac 17-08-2005 08:08 AM

Welcome! :D

(Can't think of anything funny to say)

Reup 17-08-2005 08:31 AM

Welcome Allyfaucet! :ok:
You'll probably notice after a while, we're not very funny at all, especially that one guy... err.... Raemus I think his name is :bleh:

Tom Henrik 17-08-2005 10:08 AM

We should start a Girlfriends only forum. They are reaching a very high number.... at least 3 !

Anyways, welcome.
Try to keep ReamusLQ in check for us ;)

swiss 17-08-2005 10:36 AM

Ah Reamus - you don't really get women, right?
She's not here to bug you (although you might get that feeling every once in a while). She's here because of you. Abandonia is something you ocupy your time with and she wants to share your experiance. Trust me - I know (that's the main reason Rainwife joined).

Welcome Ally. I hope you find this little comunity funa nd yeah - you should try a game or two (I'd suggest you start of with puzzle games <-- click here for the games).

PrejudiceSucks 18-08-2005 09:30 AM

Hi. The female members here are valued by all of us, so you'll be OK. Although one of the female members turned the 'Women in Abandonia' topic into 'hooray for boobies', but c'est la vie and all of that.

Hope you enjoy your time here.

Data 18-08-2005 09:32 AM

Glad that you have joined the club.
May many posts be your fortune

Dino 18-08-2005 09:38 AM

Welcome, Ally. May you become as active as your boyfriend! :)

Kon-Tiki 18-08-2005 09:40 AM

Hey, is that a dead cat twitching behind the so... oh... errr... *cough* Welcome

Rogue 18-08-2005 11:04 AM

Welcome here Ally! :bye:

And question for others! How's possible that Ally creates a new topic ans still has 0 posts???

Data 18-08-2005 11:07 AM

posts in blah blah blah don't contribute to your post count.

I'm supprised that you didn't know that.

Sebatianos 18-08-2005 11:12 AM

Oh Nuby, where have you been lately (as if I didn't know how busy you are with the new family member...).

You don't get any post-counts for posting in the Blah, blah, blah section. That's one of the ways to prevent spam.

Although they are maybe keeping Ally a secret (having girls on the forum - especially prrety ones - is always a thing to treasure ;) ).

Rogue 18-08-2005 11:17 AM

Nah,
I new that, but my brain starts to work only after 8. (it's 7:15 AM here) Thanks for explanation.

As for new family member, today we will go to photo studio to take baby's first month picture. :ok: :bye:

And yes, new girls (to keep guys around here inline) are welcomed. :ok: :D

Xikarita 18-08-2005 12:52 PM

beause I buy her things :D And because I'm a very fun date

Sebatianos 18-08-2005 04:30 PM

I sure hope you're a really fun date (and have other things to offer), because you can't buy love with presents :not_ok:

Rogue 18-08-2005 04:53 PM

That's so untrue!

You can buy love, but just for a short time. :sneaky:

Fruit Pie Jones 18-08-2005 05:04 PM

Nah, you can buy affection, but not love.

Rogue 18-08-2005 05:29 PM

You can buy all my love for 1,000,000 dollars or more. LOL LOL LOL

allyfaucet 18-08-2005 06:02 PM

I tell him to buy me things :bleh:

but I'm not sure how I put up with him
And thank you!!
(I was wondering why I had no posts)

blastradius14 18-08-2005 06:30 PM

Howdy Ally.

You like romantic poems? Check out this then, http://www.abandonia.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=6973.

If you don't, or have some objection to looking at poems that someone you don't know wrote, get Reamus to read them to you. :D

Especially the Prose, you will  it, methinks.

moogle 18-08-2005 07:16 PM

hey ku-po!
:D
Hope you like it here....
Adn the post count thingy is scarrry LOL so weird looking at a thread where one person posts like 5 time but still has a count of 0... :eeeeeh:

Blood-Pigggy 18-08-2005 07:31 PM

If a one nighter is your idea of love then you need a bigger wallet, or a new life style.

It is good to see another couple on abandonia :ok:

BeefontheBone 18-08-2005 10:19 PM

No you can't - why whould the Fab 4 lie to us?

Blood-Pigggy 18-08-2005 10:20 PM

Cause no one likes them and they need attention.

:D Thanks...& for your poetry link. I haven't looked at it yet, but I will

BeefontheBone 18-08-2005 10:27 PM

No-one likes the Beatles? I suppose claiming to be bigger than Jesus is textbook attention seeking though.

Incidetally, hello!

Blood-Pigggy 18-08-2005 10:29 PM

I was being stupid you silly man.

blastradius14 18-08-2005 10:30 PM

Yep, the Beatles sang Can't Buy Me Love, but less and less people listen to them because 60's and 70's is "old" music.

Stupid losers, not likeing the Beatles.

You say goodbye, but I say hello... :D

rainwife 18-08-2005 10:49 PM

It's pretty much all I listen.
Good music doesn't die, it just slows down a little.

Oh, and it's still weird to see a member posting here numerous times and only have a single post :P

So?

-there are many people listening to classical music (Beethoven, Hayden, Bach, Rossini, Puccini, Verdi, Wagner, Strauss,...) - they're even older;
-there are many peoplelistening to the swing (Harry James, Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey,...) and that's over half a century old;
-there's many fans of jazz and blues (Peter Oscarson, John Coltrain, Dizzy Gillespie, Peter Green,...)
-there's a lot of people listening to old r'n'r (Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Chubby Checker, Little Richard,...); that's old too by your standards...
-old rock has many fans (Jimmy Hendrix, Iron Buterflies, Stepenwolf, The Who,...)
-not to mention people, that are listening to folk music (every 'old world' country has a rich musical tradition of old ethno song - from Nordkapp to the Cape of Good Hope and from Lisbon to Tokio).

But I guess you're stuck in the Hip-Hop/R'N'B/POP (all sounding alike) era.

Office_Monk 19-08-2005 09:59 AM

No, actually I hate the hip-hop. The oldies are the best, especially the 60's to 80's era. Though I wouldn't say that 80's are all that oldy...

Looks like puffin has got a following LOL

Blood-Pigggy 24-08-2005 12:34 AM

Deep Purple forever!

Yeah!
