Turok 2 - Seeds Of Evil
 

Even though Turok was a console game, Turok 1 and 2 were ported to the PC as well. You already have Turok 1 on this site, but I'd like it if you also got the full version of Turok 2 on here too.

But Turok's creator, Acclaim, is out of business. So I believe both Turoks are abandonware.

Their products might still be held in copyright by another company who took over when Acclaim went out... heck I could buy the copyright for any old games that was out there and it would be protected in theory :)

That's not the point. It's still sold, and therefore it's not abandoned.

Hello to all members, i'm new here ^_^ , i was searched this site and i don't see a sequel of the Turok 1 the dinossaur hunter, (this game has amazingly good graphics for his era), i have the original sequel game (Turok 2: Seeds of Evil) i did like to contribute it so, can i upload it ? I already checked is abandonware from the oldwarez list , but is quite large is aprox. 255MB of data more the aprx. 18 tracks of CDDA music from the cd that i think is also 255MB. I think is very large right ?:unsure:.

It is very large. A RIP with a music addon for the VIPs would work very well though...

As for the game Turok 2 to be hosted on AB. This is something Kosta will need to authorize. Even a rip would be very huge, and currently our limit is 75 MB (for games that doesn't need Kosta's direct approval). It could be an idea for the VIP section, though - if the Sold Out status continues.

No the game is only 1 cd like Abi79 say, (please forgive me my english) from what i say this game is like the microsoft AOE that have music tracks , but the music is astounding if anyone has already heard.

It's quite simple, really. The game is not protected, nor supported. And as CDACCESS say they are sold out (which was the only place I was able to find it in a store) it is no longer sold. As such it is abandoned. Until the point that one of the three criterias no longer exist. (Like, for instance, CDACCESS restocking.)

Meh.....I never looked under the picture of the game. I allways looked to the amount of copies of a game.

Seiing from the seller's past record and auctions, it's not a company but an individual selling his unused second-hand copy.

I've got the full CD ISOs for Turok 1 & 2. Each of them is at least 600-700 MB in size, but they contain everything, music and all. If you want me to, I can send them to you so you can upload them to the site.

We could not host full ISOs that large on AB (with possible exception of the VIP-area).

They are fully eligible for addition to ISO Cellar, though.

OK, I'll move this one to Requests.

I know that Turok 1 is approved and on site, it's not the ISO though.

I don't know about Turok 2, it was released 1999 [Link to Mobygames]
