TankWars 2.0

Hy to everyone,

First of all this site is a paradise for a dos-fan like me and I found old games i played years ago, but one was missing.
Tankwars (a game by kenneth morse) is a very funny dos-game and a great game for many players (up to ten). You get a tank a you can choose your enemies.
Its hard to discribe but the many options you have makes it a great game.
The problem: I had to search for it for over a month because there is only ONE VERSION thats the best (Tankwars v. 3.11)!!!!
If you can't find it i would send it to you by email.
Just post!

Tankwars 2.0 (Scorched Earth clone) (2000) Developed by Hyperman ML

It's Freeware.

I think it's:
Tank Wars | 1986 | Cody Snider | [APPROVED]

Dave 05-08-2007 02:52 PM

oh, I've found the problem, there are 3 games called tankwars:

TankWars 2.0 (Scorched Earth clone) (2000) Developed by Hyperman ML
Freeware

Tank Wars (a.k.a. Bomb) (1992)Developed by Kenneth Morse
Freeware

And your title :)

Luchsen 05-08-2007 02:54 PM

Yeah, and either Kenneth Morse is Cody Snider or he has stolen the game and made money out of it.

[edit] Btw: Kenneth Morse's game isn't freeware:

Ok, but it's strange...are we sure?

Luchsen 07-08-2007 03:24 PM

Of what?

It's a 1992 game, I don't think the author is still holding the copyright...and I doubt he's going to create new versions of the game, so maybe it isn't shareware.

Luchsen 16-08-2007 02:59 PM

That was not my point. Question was: AB or AR? And please be careful with saying someone is not more holding the copyright. ;)

Dave 16-08-2007 03:02 PM

Ah ok!
Well..I think the first one on AB and the second on AR, so we are both happy :P
