All what I can say: :kosta:
Idea of combining RPG elements with tennis game is great. Overall there are many mini games, which are used to boost your and your co-player levels. Also you have to teach power shoots and saves, which can be used as advantage. Story line is interesting and requires you to go trough different ranks to unfold the story. Also as most other GBA games, you can link up to 4 GBA to play a game together with your friends. In my opinion this game deserves only 10 out of 10 points, and ait’s worth every penny. http://gbamedia.gamespy.com/gba/imag...4105437518.jpg http://www.nintendo-gamers.net/img/s...0012527910.jpg |
Is there a GBA one?
OMG OMG I feel like crying. I loved this on the GBC. I must have finished it about 15 times, I couldn't get enough of it till Mario Golf came around on GBA. But I never knew anyone with it on gamecube so I could never get Waluigi or Bowser or Toad, that was dissapointing. EDIT Oh I just remembered my GBA doesn't work well enough to play games enjoyably, I need a DS bad. |
I used to play the GBC and the N64 Mario Tennis a lot... and now you make me want to play the GBA version real bad
Gotta get that game :omg: |
@Iron_Scarecrow - If you liked Mario Golf - Advance Tour, then you will most likely love this game. RPG element in those games makes them very enjoyable and not repairable as regular tennis game might be.

ah, yes the game is quite awesome. I beat every single tennis playing on including the masked players, LOL *no spoilers*. I beat them in doubles play. I plan to go back and do singles play now. It is quite an awesome game, I'm at lvl 50 right now, thanks to leveling from the minigames.

Now I don't know what to do, I have some money, and I was probably going to buy another PSP game, but I want to get this but I'll have a hard time playing it on my GBA. Hard choice. |

I have only played the N64 + GCN versions, they are really fun and very addictve.
Has anyone played both and can recommend the GBA or GBC versions? |
I have played the Nintentdo 64 and Gamecube versions as well as a little bit of the Game Boy Advanced version. It seemed pretty fun, but I didn't have the money at the time to get it. I did get the Mario and Luigi Superstars though. Thats another Mario game that has greatly benefited from RPG elements. Reminds me of Paper Mario.
Yes. I like Mario. |
I think Mario Golf got some RPG elements as well, but Mario Tennis is so much fun... and after seeing the screenshots I can say that version looks awesome
|
This new version looks more technical and seem to have some great looking minigames, the old version had some pretty basic ones although I loved the luigi one with the stars.

mario tennis is good. but i like n64 let's smash tennis more. because it can change clothes. (lingeries, jeans, school uniform, swimwear....etc.) :w00t:
|
Just because of the clothes?

In this tennis you can unlock all players by completing both single and double games. There are many different power shoots, and you have to unlock them too, as well to unlock mini-games used to increase your stats, as well power stats.
I'm currently @ level 55, and close to complete the game. |
I've completed the game. :)
Level 65 for main character, and 34 for partner. There are also some easter eggs to be found in the game. :ok: Now is time for Final Fantasy 3 on GBA. (well done conversion from SNES :)) |
Congratulations Anubis :ok:
If I get to beat the game I'll be posting my stats here But first I'm gonna get the game :P (Don't worry, it'll be soon) |
