To those of you who have yet to read God's Debris do so very soon! I first read it about three weeks ago, and found it insanely interesting. It is available for free online, and is a very fast read. I think it's 120 pdf pages in big type. It probably took a total of about an hour to read. I think the ideas in it would be really cool to discuss on this forum, especially because everyone's views are so different.

The book is available to read HERE, as well as in Bloody Piggy's signature.

If you have read it, consider purchasing the sequal The Religion War, which is actually an even faster read since it has more of a plot and people seem to enjoy it more. It has a really cool concept of who "God" is, and how he thinks. There are also about 8 questions at the end that would be cool to ponder and talk about.

Again, if you haven't read God's Debris, I highly recommend you do. I want to discuss it over a tasty beverage  (that will make sense to you once you read it)

I really want to read it, but right now, I have nothing I could properly read an ebook with and I don't really want to sit hours in front of my monitor reading this thing. That's probably why I don't like textadventures ^_^

#BlakhOle# 08-02-2006 10:37 AM

If i sit on this damn chair for more that 15 minutes my @rse goes numb anyway, so ill have to read it slowly. and if my brother wants on the computer "NOW", my arm turns dead and starts throbbing after about 5 seconds. :ranting:

Would you mind telling us a bit what it's about?

BeefontheBone 08-02-2006 11:30 AM

It's not really about anything in particular - it's an interesting novella about philosophy, religion and science which is a bit hard to describe. It's not very long - just check it out!

Hmmm....

Okay, il read it.

The Religion War is a bit more exciting than its predecessor, simply because it has a plot that really flies along. It's like, seven decades in the future, and a battle between the muslim nation and the christian nation is about to break out that will probably end it the destruction of all man kind, and how one man is trying to stop it. It has a really cool concept of who God is in it.

How can I ever take the creator of Dilbert seriously.

BeefontheBone 08-02-2006 04:19 PM

Just because he's a cartoonist, why can't he write something more serious?
