It is very good for it's time and has nice atmosphere. The only bad thing I could mention about it - there's no game map at all, aside of that in the city. Therefore it's more than easy to get lost on the no-city levels. That's why I stopped to play it then. But hey, if anyone has some maps of the game to offer, I'm sure they'll be appreciated. ;)

Freddy,
Have you tried searching google?
Im sure google would come up with something.
If you can't find any ill start searching :-)

FreeFreddy 25-10-2004 09:34 AM

Well, the only place I found something is some Polish site with the maps: http://solucje.ag.ltd.pl/ishar3.htm
Now is here someone who's good with Polish and could translate the abbreviations on the maps?

Have you tried useing www.freetranslation.com?
I can't remember if theres polish on their.
Im kinda busy id look myself if i wasn't.

FreeFreddy 25-10-2004 01:46 PM

Nope, it doesn't have Polish in it, but I found another one. I was able to translate almost all of the explanations in the maps, but some words not so if someone knows it, feel free to work on the GIF maps. I uploaded them to my FTP accout now.
Also there're only 3 of them and I believe the game has more levels. Unfortunately this 3 Polish maps were the only I was able to find so far. Perhaps someone better than me in searching would try to find more of them?

The Game refuses to start under WinXP. I get some "general protection fault" :-(

FreeFreddy 31-10-2004 05:43 AM

Of course it does. Windows XP isn't really friendly to old Ms-Dos games, you know. Just play it from DosBox which you get here, on this site: http://www.abandonia.com/main.php?nav=programs

There is a compatibility icon for WinXP .... so it must run with XP :)
