Not the best of the SIMPSONS tie-in licences but still fun, used to play it a lot on the SNES. Graphics are nice. I think the SIMPSONS transfer well to computer games but its hard to know where they'll go after the most recent, and superb "hit and run" game, a sequel would be fab BUT it would have to be set outside of springfield to make it different.
Another nice addition, thanks ABANDONIA! |
Nice arcade, I like it.
(Why does the screen tickles when walking ?) |
I remember playing this on a friends game gear, would be nice to relive it.

Nice find.

Trivia: this game did not originally feature Simpsons characters. Acclaim bought it from another company and changed some sprites, but left everything else the same. Here's some screenshots of the original: http://hol.abime.net/1200/screenshot

I have never liked the games from the Simpsons (with some exceptions), but they are fun for a quick game so I'm gonna try it right now :max:

sorry, previous post was a mistake,
i like the game very much but i can't find how to use the password (rats) after level 1. does anyone know how it works or do i have to play the game all the way through in one setting? |
I'm glad someone mentioned that acclaim just bought an old game and simply put simpsons characters in it.
For years I was wondering why this is was one of " the simpsons better games" as you may know there is some sort of curse on the simpsons games as many games turn out to be faillures. And I wondered what krusty had to do with rats and so I later discovered they just drawn bart simpson into that odd boxing glove rat crusher. Strange enough, the discovery didn't have a greater impact on me as when I discovered the truth behind doki doki panic. |
