All jokes aside, I wonder what MS will be like without that fish faced icon. To many, BG and MS are synonyms.
|
I bet it will be the same. This won't free us from Windows. :vomit:
|
Yeah, nothing will change.
We've got two years until his retirement anyway. |
So THATS why he was on BBC News 24 at the Oxford services this morning...
|
You just watch. Two years of retirement and he'll be broke. *laf*
Well, when Sam Walton left Wal-Mart it became a money grubbing corporate machine. M$ already is a money grubbing corporate machine which means we're looking at the rise of the cybermen in 5 years time. |
BG has the money to bribe every single human being into giving him all their money (bribes included), so I don't think he will need to worry about bread and water for a couple of eons. Beside, he do spend some billions of dollars on helping others. I guess he's not quite as bad as I would like to imagine him... I don't know. Maybe he'll go all Mother Theresa and maybe pigs can fly :D

Gates hasn't been a terribly big factor in Microsoft since he stepped down as CEO in 2000. This will change -- quite literally -- nearly nothing. Ballmer stepping down, on the other hand (as has been speculated about and called for recently), would have a far more significant impact. Microsoft needs an executive to actually do something or its stock is going to continue to plummet.

Well, as an icon, a logo if you will, he is quite unique. Logos are important because logos sell.
|
He won't go broke, he's a smart millionaire. He's got his money all stashed away safely, locked away in various untouchable investments and so on. Also he avoids a lot of tax by donating to charity. Plus he's a tightwad. That always helps. :P
